I said Russia were capable of putting up a fight... but this is fielding their BEST players, which they didn't do, I don't know for which reason...

Missing : Zuev, Yakusheva, Schimko, Russkikh...
The three first ones are maybe retired (??) though I think they played some matches in 2005, but Anastasia Russkikh is surely not retired as she is only 21!

Even if Russia were to field their best team, the greatest challenge will still be the WS, and Russia did field their best WS player.

Russia should win XD with their best team.
WD would be very close too.
And yes they did lose WS with their best player, but this was apparently a very good match (though I didn't see it).

Anyway, judging on malaysian players performances so far, Malaysia would have won it even so for sure :)

mmm live scoring seems to be stuck on 1-2...unless they are actually stuck on 1-2 for like 20 mins?!

also eurosport has a really bad coverage angle of the courts, mid way between the high angle on the AE cameras and standing on the ground eye level:rolleyes:

    That's a very close group!

Swizterland 2 - Estonia 2, one game all in the last match (WD)
Norway 2 - Kazakhstan 2, MD is decisive...
