Your remark is uncalled-for and unfair to Chen Long, VA would've reacted worse, I think. Btw, LHI played well as it's the opening round and he's physically up to it, as he did against Wang Tzu Wei the other week..

Lee Hyu Il, the master stroke player, at his best can handle practically anyone. I think he can deal with VA too.

Too bad LHI never played LCW or LD for ages.

LHI is a magician. He was on song. Such a flawless game! I still dont think he'd beat CL but it was a treat to warch game 1, although those couple of faults did affect CL's mood.

CL was supposed to play with N90 IV, i read somewhere. Is he playing with a new racquet?

VA is playing at a different level.. Way ahead of others currently... What we saw of Momota, he could be the one to challenge VA in the future. Not earlier than 6-8 mons i feel.

I also think Chen Long has the physicality, provided he's fully recovered from his thigh muscle injury and match fit, to handle VA.

Agree. I sorta forgot to mention his name. Only player who could be a closest threat to VA, before Momota becomes one.

What the heck does Axelsen have to with this? CL plays like crap, is about to the first game against the 37 year old #22 in the world and protests like Kyrgios when a decision goes against him, knowing full well that nothing will be overturned. I mean, he threw his racket, strolled about the court and leaned on both netposts for about half a minute. A card would've been appropriate.

Chen Long squandered a hefty lead, now only 3 points surplus, 11-8 in G2.

How sure are you the call is good, not to mention the first one, when it's not shown on TV. Yeah, and what the heck does CL's coaches go to do with it ? You are just picking on Chen Long, it seems.

If Chen Long can't hold on to his lead, he'll lose. He seems to be playing into LHI's hands.

Chen long is not reading LHI's game as well as his opponent is doing his. Somehow, not what I expected from CL today.

Chen Long has only 9 tournaments counting to his WR of 6, I guess he's here in Europe to earn the points.
