So apparently there are 2 official partnership hotel and only one century hotel is the place where the athletes suffer food poisoning come from. Aside from Malaysian, some other players from other countries suffer food poisoning as well.

Actually it is quiye explainable if you look at it this way. Malaysian team is quite big, considering their close proximity to Indonesia. Be it national team or independent players, it is likely they stay in the same hotel so as to interact with fellow country man. Other players also stay there. Not everyone affected by it because the hotel only provide breakfast. Simply put, you need to be at the hotel for that day breakfast

Ginting has H2H leads against Axelsen? thats cracking if its true. I believe he has most H2H lead against many of the top 8s (not including the young guns).

The only one that he had inferiority is against ShiYuqi i believe. While JC also has many H2H wins against top 8 and his inferiority is against ChenLong.

The resurgent Ginting trying to rectify his dismal performance lately at home soil, he stops Lee ZJ winning streak, rediscovering his normal form that powered by fast and furious attacking style, preceded by really tight net shot. The more agile Indonesian took comfort zone to dictate his opponent in deciding game. Two-time champion must present an extraordinary feat against the very consistent Axelsen who outclassed him in AE with humiliating scoreline. Experience has brought Chou TC to subdue upcoming star Sen through tactical play and will take on reigning World Champion. Loh KY overcame Lu GZ, the quick player who has sharp attacking shot but doesn't equipped by strong defense and strategy.

A lousy quarterfinal tie to watch clearly lopsided match, Sindhu can't do too much or pushed her best effort to face regular foe Intanon, the Indian only waiting her opponent shots then easily losing point. 2013 World Champion is barricaded by three Chinese here but she should secure final berth according to her high quality technical skill over today's opponent Han Yue who needed to dig deep before thwarting Iris Wang who display noteworthy retrieving skill. Third meeting between Chen-He, this time the Olympic Champion seems on fire to avenge her defeat in two previous tournaments.

The Olympic Champions Wang/Huang crashed out to the tricky Korean lefthanders Seo SJ/Chae YJ, the Chinese combination speed have been shrinked and frequently being error-proned. French sensations Gicquel/Delrue have reasonable opportunity to do much better than two years ago semifinal outing in this tournament, they continue to stun higher-ranked pair, Tang/Tse performance didn't fullfill the expectation, being sluggish throughout the match. Well, there's positive note in women's doubles category when young pairs beat the holdovers, Pearly Tan/Thinaah also home new hotshots Rahayu/Ramadhanti who boost this category more colorful and interesting.

They lost to Pram/Yere in BAC semifinal, their only problem as other top-ranked players have, nothing but consistency.

Usually breakfast will be at the hotel restaurant due to the numbers of guests having breakfast. It would take a detailed epidemiological investigation to identify the common food(s) that the affected people ate. All the cooks and kitchen staff will need to be investigated as well as they might be silent carriers of bacteria.

The kitchen needs to be closed if not already done so 48h ago.

Very bad publicity for the hotel and Indonesian organising committee will be fuming. Indonesians take great pride in having the best badminton tournament in the calendar.

I don’t think players will change hotels but preparations for the Indonesian Open will be badly affected.

What a fantastic match (especially before the errors creeped in from the Korean players)!

Amazing performance by the two female players. ZSW seems fully recovered from his injuries and in tip top form again.

maybe she serves so slow. Who cares though if she makes serve error that means shes mentally not strong enough. I doubt pair A ever cares how they won a point against pair B or breaking momentum by delaying time and chit chating anyway.

and the fans paid for their tickets

That said , the way she looks like, her posture, the way she strikes the shuttle. Pearly reminds me of ZhaoYunlei.

if she has a good partner, she should be able to have a bright career.
