but they can still play like 2016 and win 3 or 4 titles and lead the board in titles still,, They are not tall so its harder to kill shuttles. they can only play to the best of their ability but thats not their forte. still with what they have, they have made the best use of it. Doubt we will ever see 2 170cm guys dominate MD again in our lifetime.
JPN only left 1 reps.. Once the ace Momota is out , seems like it takes a toll on all the players. Whether by accident or withdrawal, it just seems its true. If you ask me why the accident happen, then i would say its because of bad omen. so can Momota and the rest of JPN team overcome this omen will be interesting to see..

Wang Zhiyi, good job, making the semifinals in her second WTS500 tournament (if I'm not wrong) after getting the better of Sayaka Takashi in two convincing straight sets, 21-19, 21-11. Tomorrow, she'll be up against Intanon R again for the second time in two weeks, having edged her out by the slenderest of margin, 22-20, in the tiebreaking set. We're in for a treat as for sure Intanon will be out for revenge this time.
