Could Chinese players clean sweep all categories i

    It seems to me it the China against the whole world.
    For WS & WD, it will be all Chinese players for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
    For MX & MS, I think Chinese will be the 1st.
    A little more conservative for MD. I think C&C has 50/50 chance to be the 1st.

    They did that in 1987 World Championships:

    MEN'S SINGLES Yang Yang (CHN)

    LADIES' SINGLES Han Aiping (CHN)

    MEN'S DOUBLES Li Yongbo/Tian Bingyi (CHN)

    LADIES' DOUBLES Lin Ying/Guan Weizhen (CHN)

    MIXED DOUBLES Wang Pengren/Shi Fangjing (CHN)

    In JAKARTA, Indonesia, 1989, they almost repeated

    MEN'S SINGLES Yang Yang (CHN)

    LADIES' SINGLES Li Lingwei (CHN) beat Hwang Hua (CHN) : 11-6, 12-9

    MEN'S DOUBLES Li Yongbo/Tian Bingyi (CHN) beat Chen Kang/Chen Hongyong (CHN) : 15-3, 15-12

    LADIES' DOUBLES Lin Ying/Guan Weizhen (CHN)

    During that time, even in Jakarta (what the relationship to Jakarta project for JSP? ), men's double finals were in between Chinese pairs. Now, thing got a little bit changed.

    i think MX is a possibility. they have the Olympic and AE champs afterall. Zhang's MX form hasn't been the best lately, but they still look very strong.

    Maybe I was a little harsh but seeing how Sogaard/Olsen only lost to them at the olympics and AE with the smallest of margins, and seeing how they beat them in straight games last week I think Sogaard/Olsen have the upper hand against them.
    Not sure if they will meet though...

    It seems that Pramote/Tesana just gave a tough badminton lesson to Zhang/Zhang. Or they lost on purpose again ?:)

    I don't think so. Even if they do, what is the purpose of fielding the players and yet tell them to lose.

    Zhang Jun win be in the advantage of having to play in the MD and MX but what about Zhang Wei ???

    He will be very disappointed for coming all the way from the China. Going home empty handed. Just having the Sudirman Cup medal to show.
