Anyone knows if 3x15 is used in the Masters??

I was thinking of going over to Denmark for this one.. But if they use rally scoring I don't think I'll go...

As far as I renember they use the old 3*15 scoring system. None of the danish shuttlers prefers this new scoring system. Kenneth Jonassen said after World Cup that with the new scoring system people began to play more safely not risking that much, which resulted in that trickshots and taking some chances wasnt used by the players anymore. As I see it it didnt work with table tennis so why use it in badminton. If anything are to be used 5*9 is the only thing that can replace the 3*15...

Sounds great!! Seems like a trip to Denmark is coming up then :)

I agree that 5x9 (not rally-scoring of course :) ) would seem like something that could actually work! (Or maybe even 5x11 :D).. But I still tink it's a waste of time and energy to try to fix something that aint broken..

I have yet to see a good explanation why 15x3 is no good and thus need to be changed. If the problem is Getting time for advertisment.. Lets try to focus on that.. maybe scheduled commercial breaks for drink, toweling etc. Instead of missplaced focus on scoring..

I am sad this energy isn't used to more promotional activited and marketing of competetive badminton instead..
