Denmark won today the European Team Championship 3-1 against a B team Netherlands ;)

Jens Eriksen/Mette Shjoldager beat Jurgen Wouters/Pauline Van Doormalen
    21-15 21-13
Tine Rasmussen lost to Yao Jie
    20-22 19-21
    Kenneth Jonassen beat Eric Pang
    21-12 21-17
Jens Eriksen/Martin Lundgaard beat Koeen Rider/Ruud Bosch
    21-11 21-14

So the new rank this year is :

    1. DENMARK
    2. NETHERLANDS
    3. ENGLAND

in 2004 the rank was :

    1. DENMARK
    2. NETHERLANDS
    3. GERMANY

So England took their revenger from 2004 when they lost the bronze medal against germany

Yes, congratulations to Jens Erickson, the older player at the Championship.

I would think that JE is thankful that he is playing the 3x21 new system. For if they are playing the old 3x15 system, his opponents will try to sap his energy just because he is older. But you never know... for JE could be fitter than his younger opponents.
