To achieve greater results, one must look at the bigger picture and apply sacrifices if necessary.

    MS

Chen Jin to help Lin Dan secure a place in the final by removing Lee Hyunil (the biggest dark horse of the tournament)
Chen Long to remove Lee Chong Wei and Peter Gade

    MD
Cai-Fu is expected to top the group and hence will face Chai-Guo in the QF. For the greater good, sacrificing Chai-Guo is the best option

    WS
No strategy is applicable...WX is not expected to go far so LXR and WYH will be left to fight their own battles. Focus on Nehwal.

    WD
No strategy required. Just play like a men; gold is guaranteed.

    XD
Survive the Group phase first. Once successful, most likely pitted to meet in the Semifinal and that's where Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei must get the free passage.

    Seem obvious ???

It would be sooo sad for our sport if we will see walkovers between two Chinese players/pairs. They should at least try to make it look like a legitimate match.

I think they will. I recall from a previous Olympics hearing a headline about uncompetitive games (only playing the first game properly, throwing the second) and how it might have consequences for getting Badminton removed from future Olympics.

I know. LYB has stated openly that he told on player to lose on purpose at the olympics. Don't remember what year or the player but he called an "act of patriotism".
