Predicted winners in bold. I will update the men's and women's doubles once the results are out.

    MEN'S SINGLES
Lee Hyun Il (1) vs Liao Sheng-Shiun (8)
Chan Yan Kit vs Park Sung Hwan (6)
Joachim Persson (7) vs Shon Seung Mo (4)
Yohan Hadikusumo Wiratama vs Budi Santoso -- match of the day!

    WOMEN'S SINGLES
Tracey Hallam (1) vs Maria Kristin Yulianti -- I hope the young Indonesian girl can pass this first test.
Wong Sin Yee vs vs Chien Yu-Chin -- Chien has proven to be a surprise in women's singles so far
Yip Pui Yin vs Seo Yoon Hee (3) -- match of the day!
Anu Nieminen vs Cheng Shao-Chieh (2) -- Cheng to march on!

    MIXED DOUBLES
Tony Gunawan/Cheng Wen-Hsing vs Tran Thanh Hai/Le Ngoc Nguyen Nhung -- Hmm...Tony/Cheng should have no problem to go the final and probably face Devin/Vita.
Fang Chieh Min/Ku Pei Ting vs Wang Chia Min/Wang Pie Rong
Lin Chia Hong/Chen Hsiao Huan vs Tsai Hsia-Tsin/Chien Yu-Chin
Su Yi Neng/Chang Yun Ju vs Devin Lahardi/Vita Marissa -- another Taiwanese pair to handle...shouldn't be a problem. With Lee/Lee removed, Devin/Vita has an excellent chance to win the title here!

    Here's the remaining lineup:

Seems like the Koreans are having a bad day. Jung Jae Sung/Han Sang Hoon lost to the young Indo pair

    MEN'S DOUBLES
Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen (1) vs Yoga Ugi-Kasah/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki -- hohoho....the young Indo pair managed an unlikely upset by beating Jung/Han...definitely one pair for the future! Hope they beat Boe/Mogensen...although its again unlikely!
Lee Wei-Jen/Tseng Ching Chung vs Lu Feng-Chieh/Lin Wei Hsiang
Tony Gunawan/Halim Heryanto (7) vs Lee Sung Yuan/Victor Wibowo
Tsai Chia-Hsin/Hu Chung-Shyan (8) vs Hendra Gunawan/Joko Riyadi (2) -- the first tough test for the Indonesian pair. Shouldn't be a problem but still a tricky tie! -- match of the day

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Chien Yu-Chin/Cheng Wen-Hsing (1) vs Chien Yi Jing/Hu Ya Ting -- Chien/Cheng to retain their title!
Koon Wai Chee Louisa/Li Wing Mui (4) vs Cheng Hsiao Yun/Chang Yun Ju
    Hu Hsiu Lien/Huang Yi-Fan vs Kate Wilson-Smith/Kellie Lucas (3)
    Chiu Yi Ju/Chien Hsui-Lin vs Rebecca Bellingham/Rachel Hindley (2)

Go Tony, we are all cheering for you. You can take both double and mixed disciplines, and don't stop there.

Victo Wibowo (not Victor) is former Tony's partner before he paired with Halim Haryanto. Now he coach & play in Taipei (Kaohsiung, if not wrong). I'm sure that because of him, Tony play mixed double with Taipei girl player.

It definitely seems that Korea had a bad day. Lee/Lee's loss was a big one. I also expected Hwang Hye-youn to reach the finals. I'll be cheering for Yulianti.

I just had a glimmer of hope that it wasn't as bad as you claim, though. This website has the opposite result to what you report in the men's doubles. It says that Jung/Han won 15-13,5-15,15-12 over YOGA /YONATHAN of Indonesia and that the Korean pair is playing Boe/Mogensen in the quarters today. Since the results are finally up on the official website, I guess I can direct my admonition to the Korean website though since it is now clear that they screwed up.

A bad day indeed for the Koreans!

    Lost to Denny Kantono/Antonius

Tragic story was happened when Tony paired with Victo.
Tony was paired with Rudy Wijaya (no relation with Chandra Wijaya) and Victo Wibowo with Seng Kok Kiong. Both pair wasn't bad, Tony/Rudy won some tournament and beat Ricky/Rexy in National Games, Victo/Seng won in one Europe tournament also. All winning in young age.
PBSI had too much good player in that time and wanted the best pair and split to Tony/Victo & Seng/Rudy.
PBSI took decision to eliminate Rudy/Seng from "Pelatnas" and it made Rudy Wijaya shocked and ill, don't know any news about him then.

As a matter of interest, event, are you of Korean nationality? If you are, you must have spent a number of years overseas, maybe the US. Because you don't 'sound' like a Korean! ;)
