    here are some pics from the 3 cup celebration banquet to celebrate China being the holder of the 3 team cups: Thomas, Uber and Sudirman Cups.

    it is very rare to see all 3 cups at the same place at the same time.

    coincidentally, it is also Zhang Ning's birthday.

    Actually he would probably tell you to mind your own business, refuse to answer anymore questions (unless asked by his friends and in mandarin), then leave the press room.

    I don't quite get it. Which one should not be in there? The older couple look very like ZN's husband. I guess they are ZN's in-laws.

    yes. they are either parents or in-laws. the article seems to indicate parents, but i also noticed the similarity so i think the caption was incorrect.
