Good news! Miguvideo is also broadcasting the Super League now. It will broadcast two team matches per day. 720p replays are available without registering or VPN. Not sure whether live broadcast will require VPN.

Upon further review, Miguvideo is showing all matches. Under each time slot are the two team matches on Court 1 and Court 2.

The Monday afternoon matches are in the previous post. Note that the link is to a particular session / time slot. The specific team matches are selected from the panel on the right.

    The evening matches are:
    Qingdao Renzhou vs Zhejiang Jingti
    Jiangsu Liyang vs Hefei Zhongyujiahe

    Thanks a lot @RedShuttle.

The only annoyance is that new users have to pay 6 RMB to skip the adverts, which means those who don't subscribe to the channels will be compelled to watch the whole 60-sec ads before the livestreams/replays come on (it even counts down for you on the screen, in the top right:rolleyes:o_O:()

In the evening session on Court 1, the third match is the mixed double match between Hendra Satiawan / He BingJiao and Zheng Siwei / Huang Yaqiong. This is really not about the outcome but the process :)

Ad watching is not welcome but fair enough. My problem with them is to put the result in the title. That ruined the experience when watching replays.

    Some interesting results:
-- Sun Chao just beat Sun Feixiang 3-1 and Dong Tianyao just beat Li Yunze 3-2. Yesterday, Li Yunze beat Sun Chao 3-2; the day before yesterday, Liu Liang beat Sun Feixiang 3-1 and Sun Chao beat Li Shifeng 3-2.

The younger players are fighting hard.

The thing to bear in mind is that this CBSL tourney is conducted on the rarely used, non-standard 11-point best-of-five rally point (regardless of who served) scoring system.

That, to me, means that virtually all the players are still not used to it, so it's not too surprising if unexpected or even "freak" results occur, especially for slow starters who often quickly find themselves two sets down and under increased pressure in a do-or-die situation in G3, with little room for error in two successive sets just to draw level and force the decider in G5.

So, the smart and best, if not the only, strategy for any player to adopt is to be on your toes and go all out right from the get-go in order to gain a head start by taking the first two sets, then all the pressure is on your opponent to fight for survival by having to win the next two sets , thus in a sort of precarious situation before s/he stands a chance of fighting the tiebreaking 5th set.

In other words, the psychological advantage of being 2-0 up, that is winning the first two sets, is a significant factor to victory , especially for the supposedly weaker player.

Furthermore, in such a short best-of-five scoring system, I should think the element of luck can sometimes play a small contributing factor to the match outcome. Perhaps, by increasing this 11-point best-of-five to, say,best-of-seven sets scoring system would bring it closer to the current 21-point best-of-three rally point scoring system though the nature of the two will still be somewhat different. That is a topic for another subject.

Thank you all for uploading the cbsl videos especially the juniors against the established seniors. I have not seen Liu Liang and Li Yunze in acion. From what I see Wang Zhengxing and Sun Chao are impressive. The 11 point format exposes the seniors weak points. These are, in my opinion their weak defence and attacks. They also often make mistakes on sitters given to them, and thus waste easy opportunities. When they are down they don't know how to change tactics. They don't have different gears, so to speak. The juniors are eager to impress and attack frequently and the seniors panic when they are down. Having played in so many tournaments one would have thought they can turn things around with the experience they have gained. Instead they plod on and end up losing.
I hope CBA will expose the juniors to the world soon as they are in their 20s already

Just seen Liu Liang against Shi Yuqi. This is where class tells. Liu Liang lost 3-0..Liu Liang tried but against a talented player like SYQ it wasn't possible.

To be fair, most CBA players can’t really beat SYQ, should not really judge a young 20 yr old performance from that

He's Wu Tuobin, a doubles player with Shenzhen Yuzhong... quite lost in singles!
