i read somewhere in the newspaper, Rexy stated that he took almost 2 years to develop a new promising pair of KKK/TBH to shine but mentally, all MAS players too weak. Probably, it takes another 2 years to develop a really consistent pair that could be challenged mentally and physically, in the year 2009/2010 maybe?

Could be Rexy's a source of nervous energy to ctf/lww. Maybe in HKO,they should experiment with playing matches without coaches watching. After all they have the experience and they need the 20s to chat with each other and just have a break. No coaches during matches for MAS MDs? Esp ctf/lww.Look at LCW's results when the coach's nervous energy didn't get to him.MAS MD should try it.

Yup, Bao looks very dangerous today. Park is young also cannot last.
LCW nowadays play it cool. In France, he wasnt tested in Semi against CJ cos of CJ's injury. Finals LCW sure go all out.

Anyway, glad to know LCW has so many non-Malaysian fans. Fastdrop said in France, the spectators always support LCW though he's playing European players.

KKK/TBH still has the strongest mental strength among all Msian pairs, results can show. Their problem perhaps is the maturity and attitude.

It's not about coach is around or not, it's the pattern of MAS style.
If they are feeling good, they go all out like hungry tiger ready to eat their prey. But, when they are nervous or pressure to win or coach is
watching or over-confidence or etc....they play like an amateurs, like a mice .... really10x bad! Sure no fighting one!

Usual reasons upon post-interview, "We are tired fighting all the way to SF!".

Ya...i agree with you that they should work hard to the maturity and attitude...However,its still a long way to go for both of them..

quite disappointing match from the Malaysians really. Guo/Xie was really fired up and got their game plan against the MAS correct. even beating them at the net many times.

Now I remember - for CTF/LWW their nervous energy is from inside themselves. Rexy wasnt with them either in Thailand and Demark Opens, still they lost early rounds. Remember the embarasing lost to the US pair?

For KKK/TBH, lately they seem to do better wihout Rexy there. Just Pang to guide them- provided they are not injured or sick. Maybe should try that for KKK/TBH only. WC, Japan Open, Rexy there, they panic and lost. Macau, Denmark, Rexy not there, they won.

The rest, :(, Rexy there or not, doesnt matter, they still inconsistent.

Losing to low ranked players continuously, is not what we call mentally strong.
Consistent players are mentally strong, meaning able to go through far and lose only to certain high ranked players. If you talk about result, HH could be
said as the most strong MS player that MAS has ever had...but wait, does he
really consistent? Nowadays he has been called as yoyo king for his type of play.

Maturity and attitude is related to mental strength, don't you think so?

That interview was after they won AE 2007. Rexy said he took 2 years to "Asah mental pemain" . Develop mental strength, Rexy feels is still far off if compared with Indonesia, at least when he compare to himself and Indonesian players of his time. He means the fighting spirit, fight till the end.

Current Malaysia players are famous for buckling under pressure.

CTF/LWW lost to GUO/XIE two years ago in China Master Open in straight sets. So why would the result today surprise anybody?
