Both their matches start at 8:40 if the schedule does not overrun. I am thinking the results will be in about 10:00 pm if you're lucky. I won't be around then, hopefully someone will update the results here.
I truely agree that our young Malaysian pair Hoon Thien How/Tan Boon Heong (World Junior Champion 2004) have done a great job. They played really well before going down to Fu Hai Feng/Cai Yun 15-5, 2-15, 8-15. I hope and I believe deeply that they will bring back the glory and lift up the name of Malaysia once again soon. Go!Go!Malaysia!!!
This is really a close fight. But too bad they had lost in such a close margin. How old are they btw ?

China supreme in WD. All their pairs won their first round matches, including taking out Hallam/Munt. All the other seeds went through.
Talking about age, I still remember the good old days. At about age or younger, Misbun/Jalani Sidek already reached World Championship '80 semis in Jakarta (losing to eventual winners Ade Chandra/Christian Hadinata 10-15, 10-15), Razif/Ong Beng Teong reached q-finals, lost to Danish pair in 3 hard games (who in turn lost to Kartono/Heryanto, a pair earmarked to replace the great Tjun Tjun/Johan Wahjudi). Anyway, that was the first time the 3 Sidek brothers and Ong Beng Teong made the world (and even Malaysia) sit up and take notice. Two years later, Razif/Jalani won All-England, aged 20 and 19 as the first unseeded pair. Razif/Ong won Commonwealth Games gold later that year. And they maintained their status consistently as among the top pairs until the end of their career.
