I was talking about the fact. As it was said that li xuerui was not used to that condition where no other chinese players in semifinals. I have to say that li xuerui is not an unseeded player. She is the reigning olympics champion. If all other non-chinese players go for their country lonely, why not li xuerui. She should not have that fear as she is in the top seeded list.. Thats what i meant. No offense here. I will definitely go for CWF tomorrow whether he looses or wins. The way he played this tournament is extraordinary.

Oops my mistake. I thought the pair they beat in Japan Open 2012 was TA/LN but it was MR/LN. Sorry, but they still look the one with a higher chance.

Why no one thinks that WZM will be in the final? ;)

Now there's a thought... WZM did beat Chen Jin last year at the Korean Open. But getting past Chen Jin is a tall order... possibly a little hard for WZM to overcome.
Meanwhile CWF has a bad record against WZM... but that's before CWF showed that much needed improvement. The only time CWF met Chen Long last year... it was quite a close game once CWF got used to CL's game.

But what I believe is... if CWF can miraculously beat CL tomorrow, and Chen Jin beats WZM, then CWF has the best shot at the title.

Did I say fear? Since when CHN fears anybody?! It's the immense pressure that being a CHN player has to face much more than anyone else, esp in team championships, that I'm referring to.

And,if you ask me,how come the non-CHN players are almost always alone from the Quarter Finals onward is ... simply because there is no one else from their country good enough to challenge the Chinese...not because they are so brave as to want to take on the mighty Chinese all by themselves; in other words, not by choice.

I repeat,in the 2010 Asia Badminton Championship, an unknown 19-yr-old Li Xuerui came from nowhere to sweep aside all her non-CHN opponents, particularly Saina in the semi-final, to emerge champion by overcoming another fellow unknown 19-yr-old, Liu Xin in the final. What do you call this?

What she achieved from early this year to the historic Olympic glory...ahh, no need for me go over it...

In competition, you either win or lose, or you win more and lose some or vice versa, that's part and parcel of it, very normal and natural. What's the point of getting uptight and pick a quarrel with anyone over it.

Well,if taking a dig at me can make the two of you feel good, fine by me.

"If all misfortunes were laid in one common heap whence everyone must take an equal portion, most people would be contented to take their own and depart."

They won't, different era, unless cooler return with a different handle.
Anyway, one die hard CHN fan is enough for scorpion1 to handle.

I so wish this happens regularly and not once in a bluemoon.... Although Hirose, Sato, Porntip, etc have shined once or twice but never really carried it forward and never gave any kind of confidence. Now Mitani getting in to the picture and JS upping her tempo changes scenario a bit. WS sure looks exciting, this time for real.:D

The fact that they peak at the right time is what irritates me the most, not that I hate but just irks me a lot.
