Thanks - and I agree, the coverage its terrible. It is the biggest tournament this year, and they can't even provide any livescores, and it is almost impossible to get any results.

I wonder if this year's Chinese Open is sponsored by Microsoft Office. :D
They did so to make more people buy Microsoft Office. :D

Better still try openoffice or staroffice for free. MS Office compatible on the whole. try www.openoffice.org pay a fee if you like it :)

i can get a free version of MSword97 which allows me to read it but my computer won't install MS-Dos programs because some of my registers are messed up. But I don't get why don't they just do the normal web format which is much more convient for everyone

MS-dos??? XLS is an excel file, a spreadsheet in other words. Openoffice you can get for Windows XP, Linux, MAC os...nothing to do with MS DOS :p

I guess Chinese don't have an open policy about disclosing results...I hope that the Beijing Olympics will be much better, and will allow foreign reporters access to update live, if their own internal staff are not up to it. They have a lot to live up to, compared with the just past Athens Olympics.

I believe that would be Mr. Tang XF who retired recently? Actually the ratio is quite poor compared to their other disciplines. In Mens/Ladies Singles, Women's doubles, they have many first tiers, and many more second and third tiers. In mens doubles, they are still playing catch up. Sang and Zheng are tipped to go further than Cai and Fu.
