Don't be surprised if we don't see any CHN WS beyond the QFs.

Its the only discipline China has not win SS this year. In its 11th SS, who would have thought of that?

    Egg should be broken though.

Also, if ShiYuqi and Vittingus lose today, race to Dubai For MS is really exciting.

Shi Yuqi after a lackluster G1 fought back with a vengeance to win the match in commanding fashion despite taking his foot off the pedal in G3 briefly. That's how he should be playing every match as in G2 and G3 instead of becoming a slow starter.

Why is Shi Yuqi playing like Chen Long anyway? He suit young LD's explosive attacking style more.

Wait. What the hell happened to Okuhara's match? Just played 1 point and then the game finished? Or it's because she has not yet recovered but just to show up for the match to avoid penalty?

There is no rule that requires you to show up on court if you are actually injured.
There might be a rule that requires you to be present though.
There are most likely also rules that require you to provide some sort of proof or doctor's statement that you are indeed injured and should not play.

Gao Fangjie is the lucky recipient of Nozomi's gift. Hope to see Nozomi fully recovered and match fit soon, in time for the Dubai SSF.

Very surprised that 18 years old Li Wenmei is playing two disciplines, WS and WD, at both the junior and the senior levels, rare indeed.
