The chinese players deserve to do well at almost all major tournaments because of their superior dedication, hard work,discipline,single-mindedness determination and patriotism. The talent of Taufik is not enough to crack the Great Wall.

I'm happy with Wang YH's win. She's gorgeous. XXF is too skinny. By the way, Wang's from Shanghai. and we haven't seen any star player yet from Shanghai, the biggest city in China. Yeah, Wang Yihang, the next big thing! and more accurately, the next beautiful thing!

By the way, I think there are too many politics in China's national team, it uses players not by their merits, but by relationships and politics. As Li Mao, the former national coach got fired from national team, pointed out, he cannot find any position in local or lower level coach positions. The reason is simplely politics, any player trained by Li Mao, will not have any chance at all entering the national team. That's the reason LYB hates LCW also, simply because LCW is now trained by Li Mao. Now the China national team should be called "Jiangsu" team, because the new guys all from Jiangsu, Chen Jin, Qiu YB, Li Y. Chen Jin is good enough, but Qiu and Li never win although they used up all the chances for new players.

Eventhough Wang Chen is no longer representing Team China, she's still from Shanghai

Just look at their bios, you will figure out all these without difficulties.

Before LYB, China national team was controlled by gang of "Zhejiang" with Li Mao in the men's side and Li Lingwei in the women's side. In the politics fighting within national team, LYB had to partner with "Jiangsu" coaches. Both Zhejiang and Jiangsu are two provinces among totally more than 30 provinces in China. So after LYB and his Jiangsu partners controlled the national team, there are almost no new players from Zhejiang, instead, Jiangsu players take away all the chances for international tournaments... Chen Jin, Qiu YB, Li Yu, Jiang Y, Lu L,...

Yeah, another Wang was from Shanghai, that was the reason she cannot hang in there for long.

Hope this new, younger Wang could be seen more often in the future. She did very good before in China open than other younger ladies from China, but she didn't have any chance to play abroad yet.

Thanks for the infos. I thought the politiking according to provinces only happens in China Acrobatic and gymnastic Teams.
