I got other side. Double players match requires the cooperation between 2 players both in defensive or offensive stage. If you fail to protect for your partner in the front court after his rear court smash, he may feel you're his hinderance. That is: in your case, your parner is not good at positioning for double player. If you got a right person for this, you will feel double playing interesting. Quick response to the shuttle, powerful smash somehow make the game interesting to play and to be watched.

However, I got your point of interesing in single player game. I also love to play in a single player game. You have to decide all things and receive what deserves. Single player game requires durable strength, good foot work, accurate smash and neatly net drop... Most of players have to be young to best fit these aspects.

The fact is that either double or single is interesting unless you couldn't statisfy one or could not find your appropriate partner. Each style of game requires definite aspects which you may or may not have. At the top player level, though can play in both styles, a person has to choose one which he can take most advantages and appear to be the best of himself. But at first, he has to try both before specialize in one.

Because I'm not a professional player, I do not have to decide to go in one. I can enjoy both styles. In your case, I might say you only enjoy half of badminton life.

Yes, Why Ch doesn.t deserve the title ? well we must ask BAO that he always want to be Runner -up specialist?:) although I must admit after I saw the final that Ch didn't play bad but footwork of BAo not good too, maybe too difficult for him to move fast cause he is too tall for Badminton player? or he must being Basket player?:D BAO never win the title of Champion for 3 years ? technique,is Ok but Tactics BAO didn't have much, do you think so ? sorry for Fans of BAO, why he didn;t look how the old player such as: ZHAO JIAN HUA (Taller, fast but Stamina is poor ) well, nobody's perfect.....

    Congratz Sigit and Wijaya!!

I´m feelinbg sorry for Jens and MArtin. I cheered for them so they didn´t have no one from badmintonforum cheering against them. Sad I didn´t see the match. Must have been great.

Congratz to them for returning back together to take the mensdoubles scene with storm!!

Hope I can find a new partner and beat them in near future!!

See you out there badmintonforum fans!!!

    Kind regards

    Jonas

"Only"? Sure, I'm up for it but I know for a fact I cannot. :p

Maybe if you borrow Tony from Halim, you and Tony can beat Sigit and Candra; but you and me...I'd be a sitting duck or target practice. :p :D :D

Will an other top pair be split up? Will you be partnering a younger player?
    I'm quite curious... ;)
