I still say the "lao jiang" win. GL/HS are oLD sKooL and have what it takes.

Peter Gade played a very good game. Awesome smashes , with power and angle. On the other hand, I am not sure why lin dan doesn't smashes as much as he used to. He has a great smash. He plays with alot more deception now than he used to. I am thinking it is hurting his game. I think players has more problem with his speed and power than his deception. Anyways, hopeful some recorded this.. It's definitely a exciting match.

I don't know what Peter said, but it was bad attitude from LD when he walked away.
all times I saw Peter lost to LD even in the WC he did not show bad attitude like that.
    too bad.
anyway, Congrats to Peter Gade !!!! so well deserved it.
funny that he said he is not focusing on this tournament and then beats Lin Dan.

Like I said before, PG is all class. LD should learn to be humble, classy and being a "people's" winner like PG. :)

i started watching in the middle of the 2nd game. what i have saw in the last set and a half was really high quality badminton. it is obvious that Peter is very in form. he has been up and down for the past year, this time he is playing very sharp badminton. Lin Dan also appears to be less lazy / laid back as he is normally. although i didn't watch the first game.

it seems to be attack attack all the time though, hopefully that won't get boring.

Du Jing / Yu Yang still a class and a half from their seniors Gao/Huang... i did see some improvement in both offense/defense and consistency.

this is the reason y i like other players over Lin Dan. i used to like him, but after seeing all his bad attitude when his is being defeated (e.g. M'sia open, S'pore Open.....), I started to prefer peter, LCW, Taufik, WCH, and etc. especially LCW and Peter. remember LCW was even clapping after his lost in the All England SF while Lin Dan was showing off his great body? should Peter shows his body this time?

Du Jing / Yu Yang seems to be lacking some firepower when playingn against Gao/Huang. they do have pretty good defense, some nice variations. movement around court seems to be slower and less coordinated as Gao/Huang though.
