This tournament is beginning to look like China against the rest of the world. China players are getting walk-over when they go against each other. So unfair. Also, it seems the rest of the world is trying extra hard in this tournament to eliminate the China players. Hmmm......conspiracy is happening. What do you think?

That's what I meant, she is so big and yet can play, can hold her own against anyone in the world. Very impressive. :D

She holds a trump card that no-one else has - her ability of "hyper mobility"; she can arch her back and get any overhead shot. If you could Dink with that ability, I am sure you can also play professionally!

Not agree with you!!!!Li Mou stiil not show his ability as coaches. For your information, LCW has excelled before Li Mou arrived in Malaysia. Untill now, Li Mou never produce new player. For example,Yeoh Kay Bin performance still like before he arrived. If you want to campare with Misbun,Misbun have already to improve Kuan Beng Hong a lot until KBH can enter the Malaysia Thomas Cup team this year. So LCW excelled not because the coach but his tallented.Compared then Hafiz, Hafiz are Nusa Mahsuri player so he should train under Nusa Mahsuri coach.

LOL! This is badminton, I really do care about conspiracies and stuff. I just enjoy the game...you want conspiracy? The XXZ vs. AHS match, on a few line calls, the shuttle was clearly on the inside of the line, yet called out. How's that for conspiracy? Either that or that line judge needs to his/her eyes checked.

Yep, if the shuttle landed inside the line, it would have to be in the green. :p

    whatever work

I am not saying Li Mao is better than Misbun, if Wong Choon Hann don't get good results then we should put him under different coach also(BAM hasn't done so may be because Choon Hann is about to reitire?), same thing can be said about Yeo Kay Bin. Sometime is better to change scenery if the current one doesn't work, just my opinion. LCW style has changed a lot under Li Mao, more on attacking then rallying. Again, different coach has different philosophy and Li Mao style is certainly contrast with Misbun.
We all have no doubt about Hafiz talent as he won the All England in 2003 and if under different coach can possibility take Hafiz to higher level, why not try it? And if LCW can obtain better result under Misbun then I am all for it too. Bottom line, we want to bring back the Thomas Cup trophy to Malaysia and get another big holiday after that(if you remember, we got a day off when we won the Thomas Cup in 1992) :)
Misbun or Li Mao, Malaysia boleh

I don't think LCW excelled before Li Mao arrived. In 03, the star is Hafiz. In 03/04, when people talk about Malay MS, they would first mention WCH. It is after 05 Malay open that LCW became one of the major opponents to the China team, and it is after 05 WC that LCW was regarded as at the same level as LD, Taufik and Gade.

Hafiz is very talented. I would say he is more talented than LCW. But he did much worse than LCW in the past year. He should change his play style now since otherwise afte one year or two he would be too old to do more attack. Just look at WCH. He is doing more attack recently but the result is he has no stamina for the 2nd and 3rd games. Chen Jin's win over Boonsak and Hafiz proved that under the 21 points system, it is even harder to win playing passively. In both games, the scores are close before CJ launch his final attacks and grab the last winning points. While Hafiz and Boonsak just keep playing slowly and to me that's why they lose.

No way to deny that coaching is an important factor , but the talent of the player play the important roles. For LCW, no way to deny that he is a talent player and with the proper guidiance he is albe to "show" or expose out his talent. As said by WCH, LCW is now a LEVEL/class higher then all others Malaysia player currently..

CHN vs DAN man singles. A good pre-show for the Thomas cup.

Li Mou just arrived in Malaysia in 2005. But LCW has proved his performance before that(2004-before Li Mao arrived). For example, he had to enter the Malaysian Open Final 2004 under Misbun coaching because LCW never have the good performance before Misbun take the job as M'sia National Coach. So, Misbun have done a good job as coach that time with produce new star in M'sia MS. I think LCW also can excelled under Misbun if he still train with him.
About Hafiz play style, it's not connected with the coach style because all coach sure teach the new style of playing that is attacking. However when they playing, they cannot expelled what he is learning.
