She did stun XXF with her play. She did want to prove herself after losing out in WC recently. I think Li YongBo's tongue lash did work out on Zhou Mi. Unfortunately she lost in the Finals to Zhang Ning. But overall she is really happy with her performance.
Zhou Mi is a funny little girl in that respect. Well... she's not little because she's quite a bit older than me and she's a lot taller than I expected her to be. BUT SHE SAID I LOOKED LIKE I WAS 27-28 YEARS OLD!!!! :crying: Edit: Forgot to mention that XZB is awesome! I'm so happy for him that he won!
Thanks a million, ants, for the pictures! I must say, that these pictures are WAYYYY better than the generic other badminton photos in the past. I notice more close-up photos and also real brilliance in capturing the right moment. Very magazine-like quality. Kudos to the photographers. Thanks again ants. -dave
did anyone notice lin dan's grip? the top part right below the cone is left untaped. is there a purpose to this or did he just forget?
Man, I need to get myself that one piece red dress that Zhang Ning wore in the final! That's one nice looking badminton apparel! I shall hunt it down while I'm in Europe! And your mission my fellow BC'ers if you choose to accept it is to do a recon on all badminton shops and report back if you see that red dress anywhere, including what price it is. Alright, this message will self destruct in 5 seconds.... nah, it won't... or will it... tick,tick,tick....
strange how the popular ones are difficult to find? surely they'd see a boost in sales if the nicer stuff were released worldwide?
Wow..XXZ and LD are damn perfect couples..Using the same racquet.. I wonder do they even share their racquets .. And how come not alot of pros use AT 800DE/OFF? It's not that bad right... :S
From the pictures Ants posted, Lee Wan Wah seems to have changed from MP100 to AT800DE. Can anyone confirm?
It's not just untaped! He left a chunk of wood exposed without any grip!! Haha I bet from now on we may see many players on court doing that now
Why do so many pro's use AT 700 ? over nanospeed 8000 ? check out this link and you will see what they all play with: http://www.yonex.co.jp/intl/badminton/player/index_in.html
well it really seems that its the players choice on what kind of racket they want to use.some players may feel that ns8k is 2 light.or just because they want to stick to at700.
