Retail price in China may be more expensive than in USA for these top grades. I heard Aeroplane Black is CH$240, which is more than AS50 here. Unless you want some to use there, there seems no reason to bring them back.

I've gone through around 4 tubes of Red and they did impress me. Performed as well or better than the 1130 Blacks I had. Will probably try some purples as well now based on the reviews.

are chao pai RED still that good?

i've actually ordered 2 tubes, and used the whole tube, still 1 match 1 shuttle

i've received complaints on the shuttle where after a few hard smashes, their speed slows down

personally i feel the cage is weaker compared to other brands used together like RCL Omega Gold, Protech World Class

I click on various links and they all direct me to I have no idea what website it is. Thank you very much.

It was popular for a 'short' while in sg, now it is gone. ;) Sealion Gold is still alive and kicking. ;)

    Chao Pai Shuttlecock

    Hi Everyone,

I just purchased 5 tubes of Chao Pai Red shuttlecock and have not used this type of shuttlecock at all. How is this shuttlecock compared to Aeroplane EB1130 (Black), Yonex Aerosensa 50 or Yang Yang 300B? Please let me know.

    Thanks,

If you read the posts on this thread you'll see reviews from quite a few people.

Personally I find the quality on par with Aeroplane EB1130 and the Yonex 50s. Never tried the Yang Yangs. However I find them ever so slightly slower than the two compared (Yonex being slightly faster than the EB1130). On average anyway.

I like using them for training because of the speed and the durability.

I find the (Red) tubes consistent, and they use white goose so they all look uniform.

Not many people where I live have heard of them unless they are big feather users, and even then some don't know the brand. But I've never had problems with them and I think they're fine.

For the price we have to pay here though, I still buy Aeroplane cause it's only a dollar difference and for games I like the speed the Aeroplanes give a bit more.

    Good luck.

    Hi ezish,

The chao pai red shuttlecock I have are goose feather. It is fast comparable to Yonex Aerosensa 50 but slightly heavier feel than the Yonex but a little lighter feel than the Aeroplane Black.

So I was driving around Richmond, BC on the weekend and ventured into a Chinese strip mall and drove past a shop selling badminton stuff. It was http://www.dunritesportsco.com/ located on Capstan Way. I think the mall is called Union Square.

Haven't had the chance to pop in person to look what they carry but online they are selling the Chao Pai Red's for $23 for 1 tube and Purple for $22. Prices are in canadian currency.

Is that a good price? Are they a "good" store?

    Thanks,
    CD.

    Hi CanucksDynasty,

That is an average price for a Chao Pai Red.

    Good luck,
