Just received my shipment today. Will test them tomorrow.

Upon inspection of the feathers, they seem very good to excellent but Panda does not have his hopes up too high as no current shuttle (that Panda has tried) is as good* as it was 2 years ago.

*good meaning durability and flight. Especially durability.

    Red

I'm currently using CP shuttles , the Red (Special Grade) is lighter but more durable than Blue (Tournament Grade)

    Hope it helps

Are you using the same speed shuttles? All the Red Panda has tried (which is a lot) is definitely not lighter than the Blue.

Of course Red should be more durable, the feathers are superior and the Red is more expensive, CP's top grade. :)

It's the same speed both are 77 but maybe , maybe it's not lighter but flies faster , the shop i bought from actually charges the blue 6MYR higher than the red. :D

What?!?!?! You need to buy all the RED/Special you can then. Red is usually $5 USD more per tube in the US!

Well, that review of the Red was 3+ years ago. Not sure how they are now but will know tomorrow night. :)

Good news! The Chao Pai shuttles I tried were, in general, very good to excellent!

Glad to see another manufacturer (other than Aeroplane and Yonex) currently making quality shuttles. :)

    Here's a mini-review:

Ah Peng: you were right! The Reds I tested were a bit lighter for some reason. The Purple and Blue were actually a bit heavier (better).

    Purple

Hmmm , I would rate the durability of the blue goose 7.5 , mine was bad , I will post the pics of the tubes in a few hours time, but I will try to get my hands on the purple...

Maybe Panda got a good batch of Blues. Panda just reports his findings regardless whether they make sense or not. :p

Not recently, if Panda did, Panda would have list it in the review.

Last time Panda tried the AS40 was 6 months ago, it was very good, on par with the Red in flight but not on par with the Red in terms of durability.

Yonex's AS40 and AS50 have always been very consistent in flight but recently the durability is a bit lacking, relatively speaking.

Of all the shuttles Panda has tried in the last 2 years, yesterday's Chao Pai Purple was relatively the best.

If Tony, Howard or Halim said, "Hey Dan, let's play." Panda would bring out the CP Purple. :)

This is just a survey...is there anyone in B.C., Canada, seriously interested in buying ChaoPai-Red from me @ $22/tube, if I bring in 500 tubes? I can deliver anywhere in the Lower Mainland, from Richmond to Hope.
