Is the Chaopai Red better than the Aeroplane Black?

In terms of flight, I think they are both first-rate, equal.

In terms of durability, I think the Red is better.

I have played with the purple, super durability. Although the flight seems just a bit slower.

i currently use chao pai purples, best birdies i've used to date

highly recommend beacuse they're stable, durable and solid.

i've tried sealion, RSL, victors and aeroplanes, but chao pai is the best in my opinion.

Any updates on the Chaopai shuttlecocks? Such as prices, availibility in Canada, getting a large order directly from China?

Minimum order direct from the factory is 1,000 tubes. :p

Panda placed a sample order to see if CP shuttles are still comparable to before. If so, CP shuttles will be the best for the money as just about all the shuttles Panda has tried in the last 6 months have been average to terrible. :(

Appreciate the fast response, DinkAlot:). That's a lot of tubes:eek:...may I ask what the cost would be then, per tube? I had emailed Peggy @ "jiachang"<jiachang@jiachang.com.cn, and she quoted 21USD a tube shipped, if I order 15...that'd be 315USD total.

Guys, sorta off topic but perfectly inline with the name Chao Pai.

    Was told my a friend that chao (1) pai (2) means lousy/bad/stinky (1) brand (2) in Hokkien:confused:?

Is it some top badminton guy/gal in the past:eek:?

    ...or it's just a name:eek:? Plain and simple:eek:?

If that's what she quoted you, that's the price. It's not prudent to order from China unless you order at least hundreds of tubes.

LOL, the "pronouncation" is similar to the bad words in Hokkien but it is not the exact word that the company name is.

    超牌is the name of CP.
    超- means super or excellent.
    牌- means brand.
So, it should called Super brand in english. :)

    Ralph,

    Thank you very much!

Why not just call it Super Brand in english and maintain its chinese name? Like for instance, Snow Peak shuttles are printed in their original chinese character (If I'm not mistaken, it must be a verbatim translation)?

    Anyways, thanks again.
