Even little kids can understand the concept of layers.. It's just like.. cutting and pasting pictures onto a piece of paper and layering it up..
The newer generations, I'd agree. However when I began learning Photoshop and teaching others on how to use it they don't seem to get that it's one of the most important concepts in using the software properly. Besides, not all of us listen to Photoshop tutorials in our mother's wombs... By the way, the correct analogy of layers is explained using onion skins or film cells, as pictures on paper is not very different from objects on PowerPoint.
Yeah, people who aren't familiar with Photoshop actually think it's ONLY for cropping, adjusting the color/contrast. hehehe They don't realize you could do just about everything with Photoshop.
Hope the Adobe police is not watching you.. ..george@chongwei, you can't download/install Photoshop for FREE (maybe a trial version one)...You can, of course, get it "much2 cheaper" if you go the illegal or get a pirated copy route..
Well...you could download the trial version then look for a "crack" somewhere...lots of torrents out there too...
