Nice to see Mogenssen back on court. Guess he had a good recovery.

    Zhang/Li to the next round.

G1 to MAS pair Ong/Teo. Boe/Mog seemed to be struggling a bit with their game.

Hafiz/Gloria playing the best I've seen them since the Korea Masters last year! Hope they can upset!

Also KW showing a lot of promise, beating CL (albeit lack of motivation) in the recent times.

Exactly, both of them dropped opening game but come back in convincing way, excellent stamina, good technical skill, strong determination/fighting spirit.

Unfortunately Xue Song suffered severe injury in first quarter of 2016, he looks promising and might filled the vacuum after Chen Long & Lin Dan era since Tian HW didn't meet high expectation as A-listers. Viktor Axelsen, Kento Momota, Srikanth Kidambi are predicted to reach their peak in Tokyo 2020. Lin Dan-Lee Chong Wei, still questionable these powerful veterans could endure and shine two years later. Don't know about Chen Long whether he could revive his fine form.

MAS players just lack the aggressiveness factor, unlike the INA pair.

INA and DEN. The latter maybe they can win, but Court 3 match is hopeless.

    Wow another upset today.

    Boe/Mog defeated by Ong/Teo in 3 games.

Hard to believe the Olympic Champion only took 5 point and demolished by the inexperienced teenager. A major upset that will headline this tournament opening round. With two major events are looming, Nanjing WC & Jakarta Asian Games, a big headache for China to secure MS gold medal. Expecting Lin Dan once again?
