Can Team China clean sweep all 5 titles of the first SSF they participated?

For the men and women’s singles I will say both Lin Dan and Wang Xin has a better chance to win than the rest of the field combined, 55/45 or thereabout.

Men’s doubles is between China and Korea, too close to call, I say 50/50.

Mixed doubles, with China’s 2 top teams playing at home I say the chance of either pair to win is 60/40.

So, with the home advantages it’s a good chance that China may do it.

    Any thoughts?

Haha, funny you don't even bother to mention WD. It's already a given.

No one will challenge them in WS either. So WS and WD are in the bag already.

They will probably win MS unless some miracle happens. LD never loses on home soil to LCW.

I think XD is closer than you think. JF/CP have to start as a co-favourite with ZN/ZYL.

And MD, as you pointed out, is a 50/50 affair with the Koreans.

going by BC poll, if China clean sweep, most likely it would mean all five who got the most votes all won.(although there might be possibility that the other Chinese players who won)

But going by past poll, we never have 100% accuracy. So BC poll will jinx 1 or 2 of them

I believe Chong Wei can make a surprise in the final. He is the number one and first seed.
    Go go go Chong Wei.

Belief is good. Lowering expectations may be better for this tournament. LCW likely to play ' normal' against CL.

oh well, after the semi-finals with one more day to go China already has 3 in the bag. the 4th is almost certain as the world champion and world no 1 Wang Yihan has a unbeaten record against the world no 4 Nehwal. as for the 5th and cleansweep we still have the MD, as always. I say the MD is still 50/50 but with a different 50/50, if you know what i mean.
anyway, tomorrow we should find out
