Now Malaysia has won over Denmark. China will be another uphill task.

LD vs LCW (The match to watch)..

it's almost mission impossible, i'm afraid. in fact, i thought the only team that could take on CHN were DEN, given that PG had beaten LD recently. however, i don't think MAS or INA stand a chance. still worth watching though.

malaysia is in the semis ... they exceeded the expectations of majority of BC forumers.. most say they will lose at the QF because of 2nd doubles (quota system) WCH (old).. HH (yo yo)

    i am a happy camper
    anything more is a bonus..

The chance is slim. But there is a possibility.

Malaysia has to take the 1st MS and 1st MD to start with. Losing anyone of those will be disastrous.

China's weakest link is its 2nd MD.

China's MD2 is stronger than MAS MD2 IMHO... but anything can happen.

Ideally, if Datuk beats LD, then KKK/TBH takes the 1st MD and MD2 is the key. This is on the condition, China lost the 1st MS and 1st MD.

MAS MD2 is now a weak link, so highly unlikely.

Otherwise China's depth in MS2 and MS3 will prevail.

Zakry/ HTH has nearly beaten the current All England Champion. Zakry is clearly the better player of the MAS duo.

MAS lost the match largely due to misunderstanding of the 2 players. Because they are not regular partner to each other.

Use a scratch pairing again for MD2. The chance of a win for Malaysia is very low anyway, so may as well take a risk.

"Surely"? No I think Malaysia is very capable of winning one or two matches. MS1 and MD1 are both capable of winning. China to win? Yeah, then I'd say surely... but 3-0 is far from certain.

it is not going to be easy. the pressure will be on LCW. even if LD loses china still have their MD1 to fall back. Mas MS1 and MD1 must win for any hope but china need only 1 point from these two matches.
even if Mas get the 1st two points still cannot be assured of reaching the final. so its 60-40 for china

True enough. We still have 40% chance.

I am keeping my fingers crossed.

i think we need to strengthen our singles dept for the Mens and Ladies before we can think of beating China.

China have such strong and balance teams that they are hard to beat.

Malaysia must have a strong development programme gearing the juniors to play in the next Thomas/Uber Cup.

I think at the moment it is tough to win China.. We need to have fantastic luck to win.

MS1 and MD1 need to win then only we can only think of 50-50 chance.
