We never have good records in the Denmark Open  The MD title won last year was like one in "I am not sure how many" years.

is the "We" in you message = "Hong Kong"? seems not.

why there is no affiliation in the profile for people puting their team there, or why not use location for the nation or association they support, like Suetyan did. That way, people can read easily.

Some like to be anonymous..some don't..some even don't care..

    - Some members only support individual players, even from many countries, and could care less abt being associated or a loyal supporter of a particular team or country or association.
    - badMania also supports the HK team or maybe some of its players, besides supporting his main association, Indonesia.

Heh, I'm sure INA fans will take the 1 title...its definitely better than the zero that seemed to be the norm for this year.
Good luck in the French Open....I'm intrigue to see if Rian/Yoke can spring a few surprises there. ;)

True, true. For example, I am affiliated to great badminton matches more than the players themselves. Players come and go, but great matches will always be remembered.

additionnal to all what is correctly said already, we also have to cheer underdogs fighting for their lifes and making the tournaments more intersting  as well as we have to care about the cuties on court too:eek:, sometimes the matches are not interesting, but there must be a reason to keep the eyes on the courts!
sometimes we also simply need to cheer the oposites of teams which deserve to get some punishment :D for whatever the reason is - like skipping tournaments without a real reason:mad: , setting up matches :mad: or whatever disappoints the fans of fair and great badminton sports :mad::mad:

    Off topic...

But Kido's new trick (succeeded 3 times in the 2nd game of MDSF) is outrageous! :D:D

So outrageous that even if I can do it, I would not do it when playing my friends...

Well said! I approve wholeheartedly ..... Hey, it's for the advancement of this sport. :D:D:D

Really?:confused::p All I can say is that only Malaysian fans in the 70s and early 80s had that great patience that you mentioned. I was one of them.

I just read that in a press interview with Fung Permadi at the WJC, it was said that the Indonesian clubs will play a more active role in the development of the sport in Indonesia. Club and independent players can earn the right to represent the country in tournaments and PBSI will not stop them.

We have seen that some other clubs other than PB Djarum (PB Mutiara, Tangkas, and Suryanaga) have started sending their players to regional tourneys.

The domestic circuit (SirNas) is also very interesting to follow this year, with more money being poured in by Djarum as the sponsor.

Now, winners can get at least Rp10m, which is considered a huge sum of money for locals.

And at least another 10% more next year...now the winner can get Rp.12 Million now...not bad...

You want your LYD/JJS to be number 1 again...:D..they can take it as Kido/Hendra got Olympic and WC....
I predict that LYD/JJS will tumble more in next HKG and China series....they are not that strong anymore....
