Comfortable victory for saina as well. Defeated sung ji hyun in straight games. A bit of fight back from sung ji hyun but it was too late. 21-13, 21-18 is the scoreline

Great! Both Srikanth and Saina won today as well. Unfortunately, the place in semifinals is still not secured for any of them. But I think they will both make it tomorrow and hopefully as group champs.

And today Saina was wearing the same dress as Ratchanok yesterday, albeit with colours(orange and pink) reversed. Funny.

LYD does not have his best day.
Almost (just indicated, seems to be the wrong word...) smashed his racket in frustration after the string snapped.

Strangely in Srikanth's group if Kento wins 2-0 tomorrow then Srikanth would be guaranteed to go through if he lost 2-0 but not guaranteed to go through if he lost 2-1. What bizarre rules.

Indeed. Another interesting thing is that Saina and Bae would know exactly what they need when they take the court.

yes ^^(as I pointed out earlier)

Yep will add a bit of spice to the Saina match if SUNG Ji Hyun wins 2-0 in the morning. Would be a total tragedy if srikanth tried and got beat 2-1 and got eliminated rather than giving the match away 2-0 and qualifying.
