Yeah, after the impressive performances by their seniors in previous years, this year's batch seem bland. I only take notice of Tan Wee Gleen & lately Soong JV.

Once XD is lost, I think INA will lose to CHN...possibly 3-1. I just hope Hafiz Faisal/Putra Eka Rhoma can contribute one pt later.

At least INA stole 1 pt from CHN through BD as expected, although the scoreline was a little too close for comfort: 24-22, 23-21 to Hafiz Faisal/Putra Eka Rhoma.

INA will face KOR tomorrow...yet another tough match and the key will always be XD and BD. If INA can win these 2 matches, hopefully, they can secure the Bronze Medal. But still, it will be very tight and it could last all the way to the last tie.

Line-up of KOR vs INA is already out:
BD - Choi Sol Kyu/Park Se Woong vs Edi Subaktiar/Arya Maulana Aldiartama - INA simply has to win this point. If this is lost, then, there goes the hope for a Bronze Medal in the team event.

GS - Lee Jang Mi vs Hanna Ramadini - surprisingly, Hanna had beaten the Korean before in the AJC 2012. INA will be hoping for one pt from her too.

BS - Jeon Hyuk Jin vs Panji Akbar Sudrajat - INA also hopes for Panji to secure the third pt. If the tie goes beyond BS, KOR will have an edge.

GD - Lee Soo Hee/Shin Seung Chan vs Anggia Shitta Awanda/Melati Daeva Oktaviani - this is a tie that KOR has absolute advantage.

XD - Choi Sol Kyu/Chae Yoo Jung vs Alfian Eko Prasetya/Shella Devi Aulia - if it goes to the distance (i.e. 5 matches), this will be an interesting tie. The Korean has an edge as they are the reigning AJC champion and Alfian/Shella are not as strong as Alfian/Gloria.

The bottom line for INA is that they cannot afford to lose any of the first 3 ties. If they cannot beat KOR 3-0, then, KOR will probably end up as the winner 3-2.

Another slow start by Edi/Arya today. Let's see if they can bounce back in the second-set.

Yet another bad defeat for Edi/Arya....always in crucial ties for the Team Event.

I agree. We can see Hafiz/Putra came back strongly yesterday to win the only pt against CHN.

Meanwhile, Hanna can take this match as she wins the first set 21-16. It will be a pity if INA lost this simply because Edi/Arya couldn't take the pressure of being the first one to play today in the Bronze-Medal playoff match.
