HBJ takes her foot off the pedal and is forced to play the decider.

I was told HBJ's form during the individual event is not good and it's showing now.

It would be nice if two players born in 1999 play the MS final. But Lu beat Koki in the team event quite convincingly. Koki has some work to do if he wants to play the final.

HBJ has a 6 pt lead and blew it. CHN's worst showing at the World Juniors.

We have many LKY's in Singapore. But the most famous of them all is Lee Kuan Yew, our local-born first Prime Minister who died earlier this year. He was in his early 90s when he left us.

What a day for the juniors yesterday!

Upsets, shocking defeats for even what the organisers considered the best, those seeded #1!

Notable among these were He Bingjiao #1 (CHN), Firman Abdul Kholik #1 (INA), Lin Guipu #4 (CHN), Ben Lane/Jessica Pugh #3 (DEN) and Marsheilla/Rahmadhani #5 (INA).

The Japanese youngsters were the most impressive as all of them advanced to the SF today.

And Malaysia's two ladies also made it to the Semis. And 15 year-old Siril Verma also became a MS semi-finalist.

Our very own LKY #13 was eliminated by unseeded Koki (JPN), a name to watch.

    Congratulations to all winners!

Japan has representatives in all the departments. This should be their best world junior championships.

It will be very difficult for Siril varma to defeat Adrulrach namkul. He is way more experienced than Siril. He has been participating in senior tournaments since 2012.
Atleast, Siril was able to get a medal when his compatriots did not even enter quarters .
