Chen Long is The Dragon in G1, no quarters given, routing DuPY, 21-12.

Chen Long's smashes are like thunderbolts, The Dragon spewing out fireballs, awesome.

I'd be amazed if DuPY can equalise with G2...provided The Dragon's mind starts to wander...

The only smash outright winner for DuPY?

    The Dragon taking forty winks?

Didn't expect Chen Long's best and easiest match to be against his teammate. A comprehensive, resounding victory worthy of a true champion.

See cause Li Xuerui won the SuperSeries Finals, does this mean that she now "deserves" her Olympic gold? Or does she have to prove something else to sceptical people...

A fitting finale, the final tournament of the year won by Chen Long and Du Pengyu, in the absence of Lin Dan and Lee CW.

Also Li Xuerui proving herself the best in the world at the moment.

So too Wang Xiaoli and Yu Yang.

Somehow I still find it strange not to see Lee CW in the final, needs getting used to. We should see him in the KOR PSS and the MAS Open next year, looking forward to it.

The first match between ZZ v Fischer/Pedersen should be played as last one, this is the most interesting of 5 finals. Both Li Xuerui and Chen Long showed total domination over their opponents, superb performance by Boe/Mogensen also Fischer/Pedersen as well who performed their best here.
Congrats to the champions, CHN and DEN shuttlers who won 3 and 2 titles respectively :)

Oh,how can I forget to mention the Thai child prodigies whom LXR praised highly of, eg Busanan. I should also add Intanon R and Tai TY, both of whom are in the international circuit for less than 3 years, and still developing as players, so could possibly blossom within the next two years or so.

    interesting opinion by GC.

but do anyone agree if i said Lin Dan vs Lee Chong Wei maybe is one of the most anticipated badminton match for the last few years? i remember read somewhere that the number of people watching their match in LOG 2012 final was pretty amazing for a badminton match. also, would we see the same atmosphere inside the Wembley arena in WC 2011 and OG 2012, if the opponent across LCW's side is another player? (umm, maybe we will. but still must wait for some time to see if i'm right or wrong on this one. :p)

of course, there is no way to compare LD's (with all the WDNs and WOs) support to the sport to LCW's for what the datuk already do for all these years. but at least LD along with LCW already created a great rivalry that bring all those enthusiasm between their fans and badminton fans nearly every time they meet, the enthusiasm that rarely seen before in badminton i suppose? (sorry if i'm wrong on this :D). and for this reason, i think LD already run his part to support badminton enough.

that 'little' support, along with his quality and attractiveness of playing, plus all his achievements, i personally think that all of those thing already enough to mention him as one of the greatest player too. :)
