INA Masters 2019:- Oh-oh, top seed, Yeo Jia Min ousted by relative unknown, INA Aurum Oktavia Winata.

Sakai Kazumasa thrashed by Wisnu Yuli Prasetyo, 21-9, 21-11, going by the score (not shown on livestream)?

A shocking result, 13-21 / 12-21 following Yeo JM quarterfinal outing at recent Basel WChamps when she defeated Akane Yamaguchi there, the Singaporean looked frustrated here as Winata could retrieve almost all her attacking shots well also the underdog home teenager exploited some excellent shots at front area.

Zhang Yiman flopped, losing to Lin Hsiang Ti who prevailed convincingly in two straight sets, another new talent from TPE?

Russelli Hartawan is attacking very well, her shot selections are good, and moving fast.

Quite a huge upset at the Indonesia Masters. Hoshino/Nishikawa are not even on the National B Team; they came as self-financed players.

Yeah, a bit surprised that Fajar/Rian lost against this JPN pair. But, probably Fajar/Rian can't handle the consecutive tournaments. They reach SF in China Open and winner in Korea Open. They barely have any time left to prepare at IM.

As expected, top-seed INA, title-holder CHN, the emerging Thailand and rising Japan advance into final four, knocked out their opponent directly, 3-0. A revenge mission for INA team where they suffered painful losing to THA in AJC Final this year despite had leading 2-0 at that time, the former will banking on doubles category while Thai has advantage in MS & WS. Japan upsets two-time champion Korea and will take on favorite China who had flopped performance in Suzhou last July.

Do you really think that Japan's advance to the final four was expected? Since they missed out on a podium finish at the Asian Junior Championships earlier this year, I am actually quite surprised.

Li Yun, what a surprise, she's playing better than I expected against Russelli Hartawan who impressed me yesterday with her fast attacking game, her stinging smashes. Admittedly , Li Yun is improving though occasionally prone to simple errors, but smarter now.

Ren Pengbo looked tired towards the end of G3 and duly lost the match to Tanongsak, giving three easy points away.

What happened in G2, Wang Zhiyi , apparently, wipes the floor with Lin Hsiang Ti, 21-5, who yesterday, based on the score, thumped Zhang Yiman in two straight sets convincingly?

Understandably, without livestream for Ct3 for both the aforementioned matches, we really have no idea what transpired unless somebody watching in the arena would feedback to us.

After yesterday's MD big upset by the unknown JPN pair over Fajar/Adianto, today we have another upset in WD, the unknown INA WD pair, Ramadhanti/Sugiarto, booted out the No.2 seed, Li Wenmei/Zheng Yu, intwo convincing straight sets.

Expected, but am sure nobody predicted them to prevail in such emphatic fashion against Korea.
Especially Riko Gunji. Missed her match against the American In group stages, but she was rather amazing against both Tasnim and Bo Hyun SEO.
Also her on court demeanor and expressions resemble Yamaguchi a lot, a shorter hairstyle and WJC next?

All Indian Juniors "start focussing" on senior circuit way too early, don't you think?
Didn't Malvika won school games just an year ago?
I didn't expect too much since the lineup was announced tbh. Other than maybe Tanisha nobody looks inspired, speaking of whom, can be a future XD partner for Satwik. Ashwini might retire soon. The likes of Kuhoo Gary or Juhi devangan or even R Panda are nowhere to be seen.

Don't know what's wrong with Malvika, Gayatri and Samiya. All of them missed qualification tournaments for WJC and instead focussed on seniors tournaments. Gayatri and Samiya are 16 and Malvika is 18. What's interesting is Malvika played in AJC this year where she beat Phittiyaporn Chaiwan and then lost to a Chinese player.

Yeah, last year she won school games and this time runners up in u21. Meiraba has disappointed big time and Tanisha may well be an appropriate partner for Satwik. Kuhoo is lingering around with Rohan Kapoor with no appreciative results to show.

Ji Shuting retired just after three points down - didn't get to watch what happened on Ct2, injured? Hope not too serious.

Not bad, Sun Feixiang disposed of Tan Jia Wei in two sets, 21-1,21-18, in 30 mins, for a place in the semis.
