LZJ has been disappointing so far, playing below his higher seeding against a very determined Gemke.

They are really wild and quite a bit too loud for my taste, but I think it's funny they made the final.
Last year, they played for a team in the second Japanese league (77 Bank) and helped to get that team promoted to the first league. They then switched teams to the team they helped relegate (Tricky Panders), and are now again in the second league. Thus they now have time to participate in this very tournament, while their former team is competing on the first day of league #1 today. :D

If Rasmus Gemke wins tomorrow, is he youngest MS player to win GPG?

Just now GC said that somebody has won it when he was 20 years and 4 days old. Tomorrow Rasmus Gemke will be the same age as him.

Looks like the Thais are trickier than I thought.
They are leading 11-10 at the interval. But generally the match was well fought by both teams.

I'm rooting for Jindapol to make it more minus one :p

The pressure will be at the same level for both player. Zhang Beiwen for being higher rank player and leading H2H records and Jindapol for creating breakthrough after last year failure as Bitburger GPG runner-up (losing to He Bingjiao).

A body smash from Jindapol secures her 2nd point but it will be a good fight between the two.

Jindapol has been making a few unforced errors to trail 7-11 at interval.

Some remarkable saves from ZBW but the gap has narrowed further to 14-all.

Diving backhand save from ZBW to no avail. A long rally forced ZBW to hit out, 17-all.
