i complaint bout the floor too in the beginning.....
but bc bintang has such good operating hours (plus a bird shop)....
i think after a while u get used to all the bad sides and the heck with it and u get to meet up with alota players there and become frens too....so mebbe thats y its stealin all the players fr other gyms

i've 6-8 frens that switched from citybeach & irvington to bintang as well.

bintang is great if u hv a sudden itch to play too....

We wont be that tired, we're only drilling and playing games. And we sorta eat between those times. I brought chips the last time around. Yeah I know, I should bring something else to eat. But don't worry about us, we young folks will have enough stamina to keep up with you old folks. We need all the practice we can get. I'm trying to prepare for my matches and tournaments. I'm hoping to win a trophy or two this year.

sounds good. let's see if all those physical training you did pay off!

more aggression. the first smash in our game was good. but later on in the match, you weren't as aggressive anymore.

did u guys notice that the floor in bintang is starting to buckle and pop-out? esp. court #8, 11, and another one (cant remember). court #8 is the worst, the left side is like at least .75" elevated above the level floor. its like playing on a floor with springcoils. either they didnt glue or nail the floor down properly....or mebbe too much moisture in the room from all the sweat?

yeah. i think most of the courts have some of it. i wonder what Phu is going to do about it. it is quite strange. it'd be bad if someone twist an ankle or something because of those bumps.

Sure why not, I think I can make some time to play some time those days. You'll probably recognize me with the badmintoncentral shirt. Yeah we should do that, whenever we have gatherings, we should wear the shirt.

is iffy. evening of 17th onwards, i'm going baddy nuts. haha.

joseph: cool! maybe i should get me a bc shirt too. ;) when are you usually

I hope I can play with you those days. I have school from 7 - 12 then badminton practice from 3 - 6. If I can possibly finish my hw I think I can make it. But if I can't, wells...have fun.

Yeah, Ben Lee is one crazy guy. He can play with both hands. I remember seeing him play a doubles games before, but can't really remember how good he was.

the only days its not busy -- MONDAY (lunch & nite) and T-F (lunch time)
other times/days, u hv to wait at least 20 mins to get into a match. gettin crazy!!!

soemtimes, i cant even concentrate playing bc u hv ppl waiting fr the next game watching you waiting for u to finish asap.

but at least Phu nailed down the popped out floor areas. thats a good thing.

Just get there early. It might seem crowded at first, but that's only because all the courts are taken. But if you look around, there's barely anyone waiting to get onto a court. I might be there tomorrow. Well actually...I will be there tomorrow.
