    The purpose of the league and everything we do at Bintang Badminton Academy is to promote the sport. We strive to make all activities, events, and training affordable for students and adults alike. Only when anyone and everyone has equal access to the facility, classes, etc., will we be able to push the sport to new heights.

    I definitely like the idea. plus the price too.:) However, the problem is the number of players. I am not sure how easy to find 6-10 players to form a team. I just have a suggestion here. Is it possible for individual to register the event first? But he needs to provide his skill level (A,B,C,D). If there are enough individual, then one team is form. If there are a lot of individual interested in it, Then Phu can shuffle those individual to create several teams so that they are average. Would it be more fun?

    Will these teams have the option of naming their own team instead of just something like Team 1?

    BBA can help you forms teams...so don't worry!

    Since this is the first time we are doing an "open" league, there is a lot to experiment and play around with. People who are interested but do not have a group of friends to register with are definitely still encouraged to sign up. Phu will definitely help form teams from individuals who sign up and will make the teams as "fair" as possible. How the teams are formed will depend largely on how many people sign up and what their skill levels are.

    So if you have the even the slightest inkling to join, then do not hesitate. SIGN UP. BBA will make it work and it will be very fun! :D

    Interesting Team Name is a MUST!

    The teams MUST come up with an interesting, cReATIvE name!!!
    A name like "Team 1" or "Team A" will be frowned upon!!!
    (like this --> :( )

    By the way, the winning team will win a team uniform with
    their name on it. So it would be much better to have something
    like "Shuttlecock Fighters" or "Baddy Warriors" on your shirt
    than "Team 1", right?! ;)

    Wow!! we who play at noon time are overwhelmed by those high schoolers.
    Is there any method that Bintang can moderate that??
    Maybe we need to hibernate in SUMMER or do some alternatives. LOL :(:(

    Don't know why, there were a lot of young players the week before, but very few last week, but it's crowded again this week. Maybe it's a pattern, they come every other weeks. ;)

    Is it worth to have an extra summer hours ($3) (2p.m.-5p.m.)? So that the young players don't need to skip lunch to play. Then 11-2 can have those regular OLD players like me to play :D. Just my 2 cents.

    Yes, we have noticed a boost in high school kids attending lunch time open gym. The staff will discuss the possibility of extending the hours or opening earlier. We will keep you posted.
