I am over 22, ineligible I am above the age bar to be eligible for this training, thats sad. :crying: I any case, I think this is for a very good cause Phu, and it really is great of you to be providing training for free just for promoting the sport. I am sure whoever is chosen will work wonders.
I don't think there is any age limitation. I have a few friends in the mid-30's taking 1-to-2 classes from Phu. I can tell they have improved a lot in just a few months. Actually it's a good workout too when he trained them on footwork.
Ooh. Sorry, I didn't read the post by sillykhuu and I didn't know your post was referring to sillykhuu's post. So sillykhuu === Phu.
San Gabriel Valley Badminton Club Sticky? Hi Kwun, how do one create a sticky for San Gabriel Valley Badminton Club? It is a very popular gym for Southern California and I'm sure lots of people want to know more about the gym. I see lots of stickys for northern california gyms. Like to see one for S. California. Thanks. Oh, and OCBC too.
May be we can have middle ager training camp or something.. Hi, Been playing at Bintang for a while especially at noon time. I saw a lot of people improved a lot but no formal training. So if there is a training session at noon time may be one hour once a week or something. I thing it will have a lot people would like to participate in. What do you think?
Well, Bintang needs a coach to have a training session. I have not seen Phu for a long time at noon. Actually I saw Phu teaching students when the Geneva gym just opened. Probably to Phu, the priority of bar exam is way higher than coaching badminton right now.
You seem to know a lot about the happenings at Bintang. Who might you be? I'm curious as to who you are since you seem to be a regular there.
Interesting I seldomly see any players at your age (19) at noon in Bintang. Most of the people I saw are people working but taking a lunch break. I'm just an ordinary person out of the 40 - 50 people playing there at lunch hour. However, I never met the 2 most famous people in the bay area in Bintang, Kwun and Han. I bought over 60 DVD's from Han, and I'm very interested to find out how he looks like. I saw Kwun's picture here, and all I know Han is left-handed. I rarely saw any left handed players in Bintang.
I'm not usually there at noon, I'm actually there during the second session. Kwun was there last week and so was Han. I see Han basically every week and Kwun every now and then. Han is usually there friday nights playing singles and sometimes doubles if there's no one to play singles against. You'll know Han when you see him...he makes sure his presence is known to all in the gym.
Han, this is very unfair that you give 60 dvd's to qidong, and not one to me. Looks like you are scared I might defeat you someday learning the tricks, and so you dont trade with me.
No, I did mean Bintang League. I saw some pamplets about this at bintang on the front desk. As Kwun pointed, probably Phu/Stella should advertise this more.
Ok, Kwun. You convinced me to it. (It was supposed to be an underground operation! ) Because BBA's badminton little league had been favorable among the kids, we have decided to let adults have a little fun as well. So...
