    A number of my badminton "kakis " (regular playing mates in Malay) have booked adult season tickets at 20% discount (S$32 instead of S$40) from the SBA and we are eagerly looking forward to having a whale of a time at the SIS. No doubt the world's best badminton players will be on display and being there to soak in the electrifying atmosphere will definitely be better than watching the proceedings on TV.

    I think the Singapore contingent will be boosted with the formation of the Badminton Fan Club (probably dressed in red T-shirts) and this year could be a noisy one from the supporters. Wonder what sort of noise makers they will give us to generate more excitement.

    I'm lucky in a way as my office at Raffles Place is not too far from the SIS and I probably will steal some time to witness even the earlier rounds.

    Wonder whether some of our younger and more able Singapore BF fans can organize a group meeting at the SIS with photo to be taken and perhaps posted here for others to see.

    See you at the Singapore Open!

    Hi JR

    Congratulations Jonas and to your partner, Lars Passke, for becoming the current World Men's Doubles Champion in Birmingham. I've seen both of you in action over TV and must say that you both are very good indeed, despite your relatively short partnership.

    I like your speed and power and your partnership with Lars could only get better as time goes by. Hope you and Lars can repeat your winning performance in Singapore.

    Hope we can arrange to meet, together with the other BF'ers, in Singapore. Will keep in touch soon.

    Hi,

    This's my first time posting on this forum...Great to know there're so many badminton fans from overseas and Singapore...

    Just would like to find out how many of you here bought the season tickets for this coming S'pore Open? Actually i'm the one who is in charge for the Singapore Badminton Fan Club...hope fans from BF if you're having season tickets, we welcome you to join us...probably we'll be holding our club banner... Loh has given a good suggestion, it'll be great if BF fans can meet together before watching the event...anyone interested???
