Yep, way more, that's a little over 6' 3".
Lundgaard is no shorty either...
fantastic to see such tall men playign at the net...fountain of inspiration
When you're good...you're good.
What about the women players??? How tall is Donna Kellogg? She looks tall when standing next to Emms but I can't be sure since Emms is quite short.
Or Kamilla Rytter Juhl??
At this rate, it'll be tough for me to break into the top 30: I'm right around 167 cm. I never knew Bao Chunlai was that tall. I didn't realize that from the vids.
what about the latest WC star Anup Sridhar? he seems tall and lanky too...
Hmm.. 6" is 183cm.. SO i say: LEE YONG DAE, GROW A LITTLE TALLER!!!
then i'll add him into this list. LMAO..
currently: BAO CHUNLAI.. LOL. i sound buyers.
How do you know all this heights? Where have you found the info?
Bjorn Joppien is 1.91 m according to his homepage..
at the time I wrote that post, Google still had cached versions of those players' bios from the Athens Olympics website. At the time, it was the only resource I knew of that had heights for players of different countries. As you can probably see, the links are all defunct now.
I don't understand why the Athens Olympics website is not available now, it's a shame.
Anyway, thank you for answering.
6" is nowhere near 100cm, let alone 183.
now if there was a team tournament with the tallest vs. the shortest, i'd be the first one in line for tickets to see those two teams
From my memory, Tan Aik Huang (1966 All-England), Malaysian, was well over 6' (probably around 6' 2").
no doubt that the short ones will win..........
