Yep; Panda's order of Ultimate Grips is already coming. Will do a very detailed review on them. They are the best grips this Panda's ever used, no question. Panda let 10 other people try the Ultimate grip and they instantly agreed, it's the best grip they ever tried. In fact 3 people purchased Panda Power rackets ONLY if Panda included the Ultimate Grip. Panda told them he only had four samples and that they would be robbing the Panda of his super grip happiness. They said too bad, T2 with Ultimate Grip or no sale! ... ...... If you like an ultra-tacky feel, yet doesn't impede rotating the racket in your hands and instant feedback and feel, the Ultimate Grip is the best. It blows away the Karakal Super PU for this Panda but to each his own.
Yes, as they are the sole distributor of their own grip. You can also contact them directly at: squash_mart@yahoo.com
Thanks for the info. When will you be able to have a review on this? Also, what is tackiness all about? Is that the only criterion needed to be monitored in a grip? When I started using StickUm powder with my racket (grip is a Yonex brand, not sure of the model, it's grey in color and kinda plain and soft), the grip started to have some smell, is this normal when using StickUm? I'm thinking my sweat from my hands combined with the StickUm produces that bad smell. My grip is also starting to wear off and I'm blaming the StickUm for that, does that powder also destroy the smoothness of grips?
Have you try this two grip from Yonex? The newest Grip. (Tacky Fit Grip with wet feel) It will not become slippery even though it get wet. According to the at700 forum, someone has tested that it under water. Water Fit Grip with dry feel
According to this website , grip powder is for towel grips (http://www.bbesports.com/wzgl/ProductShow.asp?ID=1113), and the grip powder spray is for rubber grip (http://www.bbesports.com/wzgl/ProductShow.asp?ID=545) , does the grip powder works with supergrap ?
Woah - big claim, Dink (but you saved it with the little disclaimer afterwards)!. My Ultimates should be coming today, so I'll try them on Weds and Fri and put a review in the RK thread.
I can tell you from experience that the grip powder spray doesn't work with supergrap. In fact, I can't see why there would be any significant difference between the spray and the powder, besides application. What ends up happening when I spray down my handle and my hands is that instead of having sweat, I now have a slightly thicker white mess on my hands. It makes the grip lose tackiness and doesn't dry up the sweat so it's worse than doing nothing.
Try the yonex ac102 grip.. I did use this grip to play continuously for about 1 hour.. and surprisingly not much sweat on the grip..
The best grip for sweaty hands is to use minimal grip, only about 2.5" to 3" in the middle of the handle and leave the adjacent sides of the handle bare. This way you don't even have to spend money on grips because this small "patch" in the middle hardly wears, and if it wears you simply get an old discarded grip and cut for reuse. Besides solving the sweaty hands problem you also save money on grips. In fact this the the solution I suggested to two players whose hand sweat was so bad they were really foul-smelling.
As someone who sweats alot, I feel towel grip is definitley the best for sweaty hands, however as seen above, many don't like it. Grip powder is expensive... never used the spray, for those looking for something whith good sweat absorbtion, use chalk. I've used chalk on my hands for about 8 months now and it works a treat. It soaks up moisture very well, plus putting it in the actual grip does remove smelliness...
use grip powder... if you dont want to use towel grip but towel grip is the best for sweaty hands only you change grip often

I sweat like I've walked through a water fall and have tried probably as many grips as Panda over the years. I've found that there is no "ultimate overgrip" that combines tackiness, durability and sweat absorbing ability. I found that you can usually get two out of three properties. Bobolat makes one of the best sweat absorbing grips going (hard to find at times), but it's realtively thick, quite druable and it has zero tackiness. Wilson makes oen of the better one that is both tacky, and sweat absorbant ( and kinda pricey) but limited durability. I had been using prince duraperf until it vanished, then have settled on Gamma over grip for the last year or so. Great tackiness and absorbtion, and somewhat durable in the sense that it doesn't break down, but it sure gets saturated in a hurry. soon as that happens it's slippery as snot. It will dry out if you change it out. I tend to go through it quickly in sumemr months, but the price is so low, it works out for me. The Karakal grips are awesoem at first, but I found that top layer tended to degraded a bit fast. What helps me the most is using a very thin sweat band on my wrist, usually made by cutting the top ring of a sock off. It seems to keep enough sweat from running onto the base of my handles, I get say two to three more matches out of the grip before having to replace.
Just use ANY grip with a Resinpad - it turns your hands into a day-old Lucozade spill (UKers will know what I mean).
bro, based on ur talk seem to me that you are the most sweaty guy in this forum so what brand and model of grip you recon to us? which are the top 3 ? any website to share?
