BC WC Podium Pics ...... and Dinner with Fastdrop What podium pics? I was unable to get myself in the podium, tough luck. :crying: The entrances were covered by highly toned and well-muscled MIB style bodyguards, not dissimilar to Jason Statham in the Transporter Movies or Agent 007 himself. Not wishing to incur bodily harm on them, fastdrop and I exited the stadium after the match to stroll along the Champs-Elysees Avenue. Reportedly just to kill time, since fastdrop has to wait until the time I could eat so that we can have dinner together. Good excuse for him to, ahem, indulge in his hobby of shopping. We even got to meet Wong Choon Han there. Parisians are a peculiar lot, quite a number of them move around with large suitcases everywhere, some with even 2 or 3. Seemed like they lived on the road. The Avenue Champs-Elysees, a very very long avenue. Good place to test out those Velib Rental Bikes. The views of the Arc De Triomphe The closer you get to the Arc, tourists begin to outnumber locals And the more the number of tourists, beggars move in to start operations Cafes and High End Shops at the avenue Tourist bus, didn't have time to use it though Finally, it was time to start planning for dinner. We hitched a ride to Gade De L'est since fastdrop has an urgent need for Chinese food. Upon completion of dinner, we went to a cybercafe to print our return boarding passes, then back to our respective hotels via the Metro. Even the journey back to hotel isn't without, err, challenges. Just goes to show that you have to be "thick-skinned and imaginative" to win a BC World Title, especially when you have zero command of the language. My Metro Line 4 train went out of power and blocked the whole line, necessitating a transfer to RER B Commuter Train southwards - luckily we were stuck at the right point (Le Halles) which links to Chatelet. I will post more pics of Paris soon, now it's time for shower, a hop to CDG and the 26.5 hours flight home via Dubai and Singapore.
Not gonna happen ...... I lug heavier and more essential equipment everywhere. My notebook Try and get past those MIBS if you dare. Didn't anyone tell you that the title itself isn't important, it is the challenge and how you "play the game" that counts. Remember this date: 8-14 August 2011 at Wembley Arena, London. You got 11 months and 1 week to save up and buy tickets.
If u could sponsor me, then it would be the most welcomed You could just buy them(MIBS) some cheese burgers.... so that u could enter inside..

When i see your picure, i think we were very close in the staidum. In wich part were you. I was on the L tribune
Yup indeed, that is Thom_bad. As for the food pics, being the fasting month, food pictures are banned from being posted ....... wakakakaka. Not that I would enjoy food very much during fasting month.
nice blue sky. I like the 'hero' thingy. lol. kaya kawan, gets to travel to these big games. Whos the sponsor? I also want to join in.
I've said this before, the only sponsor you need, is commitment. If you want something badly enough, you would make it happen. Ingenuity and research can let you travel great distances without spending a fortune. Really, there is no luck involved with this.
