The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) began offering tickets for the World Championships to be held at Putra Stadium here from Aug 13-19 from Thursday. Tickets starting from as low as RM18 (free seating) up to RM38 for the preliminary rounds are available. Tickets for the quarter-finals will cost from RM28 to RM68 while the semi-finals and finals will be selling from RM41 to RM103. And the children will not be left out either. BAM have made available school packages costing from RM8 for the preliminary sessions to RM13 for the semi-finals and finals. Season tickets are also available and cost from RM41 to RM428. The World Championships deputy chairman Datuk Mohd Al-Amin Majid said the public can book tickets for the event at the website at www.protonwbc07.com and all the information regarding the seating areas and pricing can be viewed there. The website was officially launched Thursday and Al-Amin believed they have come up with affordable prices.
