Badminton Sundays London

Hi everybody.

I just signed up and found this thread.

I work near Old Street and have been playing badminton near work for the past few weeks. Nearest Leisure Center for badminton is Finsbury Leisure Center - http://www.aquaterra.org/islington/Badminton

Price is £10.20 for 55 minutes sessions on Weekends.

I would love to join but not sure if I am up to standards. I consider myself intermediate only.

 

ROFL! Down my area its only £5.10 per hour and the place is fairly decent aswell

 

I didn't take things furthert as I developed problems with my elbow and now can't play at all. I'm hoping a couple of weeks of complete rest will help.

I'm still quite keen to meet and play one evening though, perhaps in April sometime. Vieinly, where's the place you mentioned?

I'm interested in playing badminton on a Sunday - and it sounds as if there's a few of us!

Crosscourt - has anything been organised yet? I'd definitely be interested in doing something next weekend (Sun 02 April), even if only a few of us can make it.

We never really got this off the ground as I developed a problem with my elbow. Sslam72 has a session on Sunday morning near paddington I think. You should find it if you search the threads.

Its frustrating not being able to play and I'm really annoyed. Will post again when I am no longer crocked!

I wouln't be offended if someone else wanted to arrange it and play without me as it was originally splitsteps idea.

feather shuttlecockes and play from 8pm to 10pm at Leyton sixform College.

I live near Wimbledon, and work near Bank. I can play at near of any of these (i.e. south or central london) or even in between.

I'm searching for a partner/club where I can play. Any suggestion?

I can find a court and book that too.

Hi Robert. I replied to your other thread.

I normally play here www.wpbadminton.co.uk every Sunday's. It's situated in Dulwich so shouldn't be too far for you. However, the season is finishing with 2 weeks left.

If you want to organise something locally I can do most dayz, but not evenings. Or tuesday all day.

Well I like to play on a wednsedays at 8pm to 10pm or sundays for 3pm to 5pm at kelmscott leisure centre in walthamstow.

MooreGate - Tooting..

Hi Akafe,

Its about 1 hr 15 minutes from my place, which is quite far.

Any suggestion on a place between Tooting Broadway or Mooregate or on the way?
If it is near Mooregate then I can be there on 5:30 pm on Weekdays and can make it till 7:30 max (including 1 hr play).
