would've been more impressed if the ultimate goal is to do proportional tensioning on the top and bottom strings. but instead, the motivation is because he wants to use different colored strings and make the string job pretty!
what I am impressed is how he managed to have almost zero setback when releasing the clamp after last main pull after the knot. He must have pulled on the knot really tightly using the starting clamp. I am always scared to pull it too hard as once I broke the string that way.
Hi all, I’m not sure if anyone can help me… I’m looking for a stringing pattern for the Lining N90 III (3). It’s 76hole but the only patterns I can find are 72hole for Lining. I can do it without the pattern however I am leaving my brother with my stringing patterns for when I go away so he can take over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It’s a standard 76 holes pattern so you can basically use every pattern you like. If in doubt, just go with the Yonex 2-piece: http://yonexusa.com/products/badminton-stringing-instructions/ It’s the second one there.
I don't know about that proportional tensionning but I do that for my own racket where's the end of roll is not enough to make up the racket. usually I end up with 6 knots, for my kids they are happy.
Yes what is block function? I was talking about using strings not long enough so they don't get wasted. I do that only for my rackets. What's that block function? Do you have a idea about saving strings? Just curious.
I do 2 knots for my coaching rackets. When it snaps, I convert it to 8 knots. I use the left over strings for the middle strings as it snaps pretty fast when I feed thousands of shots to my students. Snaps almost weekly. 8 knots comes handy or super heavy users.
Can I use the yonex 2 piece for most rackets? Is there alot of rackets that require 1 piece stringing?
You can do 2 pieces on any racket you want, unless you come across one that doesn't have enough holes for the knots (never happened to me, don't know if those exist) The Yonex loop is usable on most rackets, but some Babolat ones have only 20 mains and the knot goes on the 9th so for these you have to go 2 pieces without Yonex loop. I know some Forza have 24 mains, but i've never strung one of these so no idea. Point is, don't overthink it, but don't hesitate to take a few minutes to figure out what to do when you're unsure, and pretty soon it'll be second nature.
They start the crosses in the middle, go a few down, then the upper half to top and tie off, and then the lower half down and tie off.
