Hello everyone!! I'm 16 years old badminton fan from Malaysia!! Badminton skill:...just so so...OK OK!!honestly quite bad! play twice a month or maybe not even once in a month!! sigh...most of my friends enjoy to watch badminton than to play!! I can speak in English,Malay,Chinese (Hokkien,Mandarin,Cantonese) but the worst part is i can't read and write in chinese!!:crying: :crying: My Badminton History: (2002) Taufik Hidayat is the 1st player i know o felt sorry for the veteran Malaysian players)...but i'm not into badminton yet... LOL... he didn't managed to bring me into world of badminton!but..... 2years later.... One Sunday night,16th May....i'm so bored as there's no good show in TV but TV2 was showing badminton match.... THANK GOD i didn't switch off TV....it was Peter Gade vs. Lin Dan...i supported Peter because he's more good looking and he's leading!! Unfortunately,he lost BUT....here comes the interesting part!!!.... LIN DAN!!HE TOOK OFF HIS SHIRT and...SOMEONE FALL IN LOVE....!!! YES!!! ITS ME!!!the next day,i went to school and told this to my friend...LOL...she told me Bao is more cute!! sigh...hehe!! As for now I'm totally a badminton freak!!never miss out any Lin Dan's matches!!almost all my friends know who is Lin Dan and some even fall for badminton!!hehe...i'm glad about that!! if you wanna meet me (in school),just say Mrs.Lin Dan...they will bring you to me!! as for my beloved Lin Dan,he's my favourite player EVER!! he brought me into badminton!!...i wish i can meet him one day. Awesome! We also need more females on this forum, seems to me like it's all guys sometimes... Yes, Lin Dan is awesome, although (as many people say), he does need to smile more. You can speak Mandarin? Na tai hao le! Sui ran ni bu hui xie huo du, dan shi ni hai shi ke yi xue a! (That's great! Although you can't write or read [Mandarin], you still can learn!) Anyways, I consider you extremely lucky! I've never seen any badminton matches on TV in the US. It's terrible! Not even one! I have to go online and find all the matches and results!:crying: Also, it's still great to play, even if you don't play often or play well...I wasn't even decent until this year, but I've always loved it. Well, I do speak a tiny bit of Japanese, and I like the Japanese culture, but yeah, I'm not actually Japanese. Zhen de ke yi ma? Zhen xi wang ke yi...(Can I really? I wish I could...) Yes, quite hot sometimes, but I'd rather have that than the terrible cold. I have some friends that are Malaysian, they can speak quite a few languages (English, Japanese, Chinese, Malaysian, wow!).
