Hi all, It's pretty obvious that by looking at my nick name, in fact, it's my name - Amos Chong. However, in my company, my colleagues know me as "Chee Leong". In retrospect, I've been playing badminton for more than 24 years since 5 years old...Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to boost how good am I, in fact, it's the other way round...declining. But, this doesn't stop me from playing badminton with some good players in my company regularly. I registered myself in this BadmintonCentral since June 05. I believe the "motive" is pretty simple, obtain more knowledge about badminton and share your information. In one word to summarise it, "reciprocity". I'm quite blessed because this site has all the information that I "wanted" to know decade ago. Anyway, it's still not too late to know now.
Welcome Amos. Here at BC, members go beyond simple reciprocity. Individual (knowledge banks) such as Kwun / Forrest / Eapak / Bluejeff / Cheung are altruistic in their dispensing of useful badminton trivia. Hope your "drop in performance" soon picks up after gaining insight from the "techniques" section.
ya, i'm hoping my "drop in performance" will soon pick up after gaining insight from the techniques section.
Reading might improve your gameplay and tactics but does ****-all for techniques. For techniques, the only way to improvement is practice/training/repetition (after being shown the right way to do them, of course ). Welcome to BF, Amos!
