it was about his characteristic and attitude i guess. the way he try to taunt his opponent. he is good,no doubt about it.he beat the top seed who is the hot favorite of ms winner. he shown good attacking play. but this wont be any good for him in future. i hope coach will identify this and fixed it.

Analysis of the BAYC U-19 Individual Results MAS registered the most 28 entries, 4 made it to the QF, but only 1 entered the SF and F in MS which Zhi Soo Teck won against Korean Jin Jeon Hyuk in 3 games. IND was second with 25 entries with only 1 making it to the quarter finals in WS, which IND sent a record 7 entries. In a way rather disappointing. The other Asian powerhouses CHN, KOR, JPN and INA each sent 18 entries with the following outcome: CHN had 12 quarterfinalists, KOR 8, JPN 3 and INA 2. And in the semi-finals, CHN had 7 representatives, KOR 4, JPN and INA 1 each. In the finals, CHN had 5, KOR 2, JPN 1 and none from INA, the rest filled by MAS and THA. Must have also been a let down by INA which just recently has shown some form of revival in the senior ranks. THA, SIN and HKG each sent representatives in 17 events with at least one reaching the quarter finals, THA being the best with 4, SIN and HKG with 1 each. THA is more superior as it has 3 representatives in the semis and 1 in the final. THA's Busanan was unable to match the feat of compatriot RI in this instance when she was shocked by JPN's Ohori Aya in WS. One other northeast Asian country, TPE with only 16 entries managed to have 3 reaching the QF. In the end, the most successful country is CHN which won the MD and WD titles and a finalist in XD, followed by KOR in XD, MAS in MS and JPN in WS. It would seem inevitable that CHN would continue to lead the field for some time. It has both quality and quantity. More hard work from the rest, I think.
How about 'unsettle' or 'unnerve'? 'Taunt' and 'provoke' are strong words and imply some sort of personal nastiness and deliberate reaction. E.g. LD and Li Mao at that Korean Open many years ago. 'Intimidate' doesn't necessarily mean staring at someone. Some shouting during a match can mean psychological intimidation.

I wasn't able to post my thought until today, as I was too busy with work & personal stuffs over the past 2 weeks. Now that I finally managed to settle down, yes, I was also very sad that Kevin/Arya lost in the SF I believe they can match Li Junhui/Liu Yuchen, as the CHN pair lost to the TPE pair in an earlier group match. Kevin/Arya beat the TPE pair in the QF. Unfortunately, the non-technical aspect of the game propped up as Kevin/Arya were faulted several times during the match, according to the report in badmintonindonesia.org. Nevertheless, Li/Liu are also an experienced pair as they managed to get into the Final of the NZ Open GP in April, only to lose to Rian/Angga. It will be interesting to see who will emerge the top in the WJC later this year. As for the other events, I already predicted before the start of the individual event that practically nobody can be relied upon and it turned out to be the case as none (except for Kevin/Arya) managed to get through to the SF. The performances of the BD and XD pairs this year were extremely poor. In particular, Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra/Yantoni Edy Saputra disappointed as they lost in their first match despite being seeded. More will be expected of Yantoni and I am hoping he can be paired with Hantoro or Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho? Rian Swastedian/Masita Mahmudin (being the top XD pair this year) were a let-down also. XD will belong to either Choi Sol Kyu/Chae Yoo Jung or the CHN pair; unless INA wants to field Kevin Sanjaya for the XD event too in the WJC, after looking at how Kevin/Masita were practically unbeaten in the later stage of the team-event! One thing for certain, Jonathan Christie should be assured of a spot in the WJC. So too is Ihsan Maulana Mustofa (thanks to his QF finish in the individual event). The other 2 spots should go to M. Bayu Pangisthu and Fikri Ihsandi Hadmadi.
