If i were the decision maker for determining the upcoming CHN UC team, i will leave behind WSX in crucial matches regardless her current WR; instead i'd stage LXR, WYH, and Liu Xin.

The WS3 will only play when the score is 2-2 (except in group matches). Which one will you play, WYH or LX or Han Li? I know who I will field.

AlanY, why ever need to dare the risk of a 2-2 position? For crucial matches, better to field LXR as WS1 and WYH as WS2 then LX as WS3 if needed from the outset.

WSX can be fielded for not so crucial matches; lacking of lethal smash is a sure handicap regardless how excellent she is in other aspects, in particular when the team simply has other excellent choice!! :D

The only team has a slim chance to challenge China is Korea, bar none.
Even that a 2-2 score line will be very unlikely. Even so, WYH at WS3 is the safety net that every coach will be dream of.

Who will be the WS3 from any country come close to the World no 3?

In that sense, it's an undeniable treasure. Hence WYH is the reserved ace!

The Chinese youngsters still need plenty of training, int'l exposure and playing opportunities in int'l arena to hone their skills and experiences, nonetheless they're one of the potential duo in the future. Look forward to seeing their participation in many more tournaments along with the other young pairs, Kan Jun/Liu Cheng and Wang Yilv/Zhang Wen.

The way WSX played today, and probably her previous days' matches as well, reminds me of her slump period, so passive and predictable in shot-making, and unusually erratic to boot.

Li Junhui, Liu Yuchen and Huang Kaixiang should take turns to come under Cai Yun's mentoring in partnering with the master in tournament conditions, the same way as for Lu Kai. It will do these youngsters a lot of good, providing them valuable benefits.
