The X6 has a big thermo insulated compartment (i dont understand what designers try to do here?), the rackets comparment is not insulated.
I just wanted to give an update, I've had this bag about 5 months now, it is brilliant and no rips or tears. Some objective pointers though.... 1) The self retracting straps are nice but sometimes can get twisted, this is easily fixed though, just pull them out and then correctly self wind them back 2) The accessory pocket is fiddly getting things out of. I did point this out in the initial review that it was small, maybe that's why. Its a minor complaint. Overall the bag is brilliant, very comfortable to carry even when fully loaded. Crossing my fourth month with this bag and to add to Ajay's review, it certainly has not shown any signs of wear or even loose threads from anywhere. The big, separate show compartment works wonders and so does the insulated water bottle/beer compartment Build quality is above par as I've had Kason,Victor bags and so far, this bag has overshadowed them all in terms of space, design and quality. The retractable straps were my hesitation due to mechanism but they have held up so far.Overall, a winner !
In my opinion the strap system on this bag is very bad. If you wear it on your bag, it sits so low and goes over your buttocks. The "Self Retracting Straps" supports this and the bag sits even lower. The bag is not good if you want to have a healthy back.
Yes 100% 1 year on and it looks good as new, no rips or issues, I could get another one this year but opted to get the Babolat travel bag as I don't need another racket bag. I love my bag. I would definitely recommend it. Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day Space isn't remote at all. It's only an hour's drive away if your car could go straight upwards.
Sorry I missed this comment first time, I have not encountered this. How tall are you? I am 6 feet tall and was able to adjust the straps so it fits nicely with the curvature of my spine. I didn't once have back pain or uncomfortable feeling after wearing this bag and my bag is fully loaded and quite heavy with all my gear. I'm 6' 1'' and still the bag sits not as nicely as for instance Yonex bags. If the bag is too low is especially annoying when you are going a lot with the bike. When you go to training by car is actually doesn't matter really what kind of bag you have.
Ahh I see. I doubt any usuallu large badminton/tennis bags are designed to be carried whilst on a bike. Also you always find exceptions where the product just doesn't suit you. Just ordered one of these to go with my Nanoray 900AH based on the reviews here. I'll give InvincibleAjay virtual dagger stares if the bag disappoints
My Babolat X16 just arrived and it seems they have removed the ISS feature! Called 2 large UK suppliers and they both confirmed that all stock does not have the ISS, just regular straps. Hmm.
Find that strange !! If they had any issues with the system, the users must have reported by now. I've had the bag for well over a year now and many others past that. I never experienced any hiccup with ISS. I could possibly only speculate that is strictly a cost cutting measure.
That would be my guess too. Still a nice bag but the ISS would've made it just that much better. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Sure, not sure if there was anything in particular so just took a picture after my Monday club session along with the (non-ISS) straps. Babolat X16 by Bugbait posted Oct 18, 2016 at 12:01 PM Babolat X16 - Straps by Bugbait posted Oct 18, 2016 at 12:01 PM
The ISS straps did make the bag a bit unique from the rest. I hope they reduced the price on the bag as well !!
